Kind of like a dustpan with built in vacuum that you would leave in a corner - you sweep the dirt to the base and it is supposed to suck up the detritis.

The demo has failed to pick up the stuff, the demonstrator has tried to hide this by putting a brush in front of it....

I agree with you both, rubbish demo, rubbish item, all in all it's rubbish.
Wouldn't part with a tenner for it.
