They are so expensive. I wonder if people buy them as the only present so the recipient has her gift before everyone else or they have so much money they can afford to buy this as a December gift with others to follow on Christmas Day.

The LookFantastic one has got my name on it. I loved last year's and the calendar itself is lovely (very sturdy and well made) so I'll re-use for my niece with bits and pieces. I had a discount code last year so it was quite reasonable.

Thank you, I had a lovely birthday weekend, my son took me to a House & Garden near his Uni & treated us to afternoon tea. Went to Shrewsbury to Loch Fyne for lunch on the Saturday & talked them into looking at the QVC outlet, got a 50ml pot of Elemis Peptide4 plumping pillow facial for £17.50 (normally £52) it had a 30% off, he said it had been delivered by mistake. Went for a lovely walk in the countryside on Sunday. Was supposed to be away on Holiday, but circumstances changed. Lovely time though, another memory to keep.

I usually get the M&S calendar and it’s definitely one of the better value ones. Last year I bought the Lookfantastic one and it was brilliant as well. The stated value is higher but it does cost more (you might be lucky and get a discount code next month if it doesn’t sell out and I do think that’s likely). 2019 contents below. A lot of people might think it’s worth it for the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream which I think is full size (I’m not very up on Elemis). The Molton Brown shower gel is a good size too (not a tiddly 30 or 50ml).
