These growpots bring the traditional ring culture tomato growing method to the modern gardener and have been designed to be used with grow bags, raised beds, soil beds in greenhouses or the open ground, making the watering and feeding of plants easy and accurate. How do they work? By watering through the outer trough they ensure the correct amount of water reaches the plants' taproots, which seek out and receive water deeper in the soil. Meanwhile, feed is supplied to the plants' fibrous root systems through the inner chamber, nearer the surface. By separating watering from feeding, Growpots produce healthy, stronger plants, with greatly increased crop yields.
