The ones I have (not Q) you wet and wring out. Then you flick it and by whatever magic it’s ice cold. After a while you just flick again and hey presto it’s cold. Ofcourse if you let it dry out you have to re wet it. I get over this by keeping in a zip bag in between uses.

Mine is the size of a medium lenght scarf.

Mine arrived today, but MUCH smaller than I envisaged.

On the video they looked like scarves, but it won't even go around my neck

And to be honest, it doesn't seem to cool me down any more than any damp cloth would.

Does anyone understand the "shake to activate"? It seems like snake oil to me.

They are smaller than the one I bought then. The one I bought retails for £6.99 and I bought it at a garden centre at the tail end of last summer.
