Must admit M is a bit large for me but it does, used to be a J/K so know the problem. Was very pleased with MakerMends and I think my 3 stone iliana .75 carat diamond went to them when I lost the centre .30 point stone and TJC stood the cost of the stone and repair - it only cost me £100 which...
I've got a half carat channel set 18k iliana white gold ring (princess and baguettes) and I used MakerMends to re-size it down to M from O and they had no problems. Service was prompt and good - sent it royal mail insured (5.95 for up to 500), would recommend them.
That's strange - about a month ago I texted Del about a 1ct yellow gold diamond ring that my mum wanted to buy and it was put on air withing 10 minutes with my name as requesting it and then when I texted him with a thanks from me and mum he mentioned us both by name.
I have to agree they are the best PLAICE to buy your gems, even your BASS-ic pieces. I think its time the others RAYsed the bar and saw that the world could be their OYSTER too!!
I also saw the cheaper one but thought that one looked a bit pale in comparison, would have prefered the more expensive one. Was also tempted by the green apatite and diamond in silver but can't justify anything at the mo due to expecting the builders!

Did you see the tanzanite bracelet in silver with platinum overlay that went for £125.95, it was 21ct of pear cut stones - stunning colour for their silver rang. Was very tempted but would want to wear it all the time which would not be good in my job!
I have a pair of 14k white gold diamond studs, 33pts, which cost me £129 (+ p&p) and they have screw backs. Well worth having, but I don't have any pics of them in!
I'v only used them once for a ring from one of the other channels and I have to say that I was impressed with them, although I had my ring taken down 2 sizes not up. The reason I chose them was the cost factor as I had been quoted £30+ to resize the ring - it is 18k white gold and the jeweller...
The one that TJC use for goods within the 30 days is a company called MakerMends based in Southend or Basildon (I think). I used them to get an Illiana ring resized (in the 30 days admittedly) and they were really good. Have a look at their website (just google the name) as they do other work...
Must admit I was concerned when I saw they were having yet another
stock clearance sale so soon after the last one. I do wonder if the writing is on the wall for tjc, I do hope not as they do some of the best jewellery around in most people's price range. I'm glad that others noticed the...
Could someone remind me of the valuers that were mentioned on here before things went wonky! I bought a .50 ct white gold half hoop during the mega sale and I want to get a proper valuation done on it for insurance.
Many thanks
