I have the trolley bag -quite well designed but a bit too heavy in itself (becaause there are times when you have to lift a trolley bag) so too heavy when full. I have several of the handbag caddies - very useful not just for their stated purpose but for other storage too -e.g. I keep all my...
Oh Thank you! I knew i'd seen him before when he first popped up on QVC and the way they all gushed over him I thought he was somebody I should really recognise. Now I've placed him. He used to do the traffic reports on the local London ITV news too.
This does look more like cock-up rather than conspiracy. I wrote to say I would not be ordering while they barred Shopping Telly so when Graham posted the good news I ordered immediately to show good faith. I'm feeling a little foolish now but I do hope this is just an admin mixup and will get...
There are two strands to Yodel - the old HDNL who are mainly self employed drivers (who sometimes deliver for other companies including Hermes) and the DHL domestic parcel delivery service who have snazzy green vans and uniforms. They deliver from different depots in my area and while I have a...
The forum does generate other income from advertising and for that it's important for Graham to have a growing membership and an active membership- the more his statistics show a healthy active membership the more advertising revenue he can command. Moving QVC to the Drop would be a mistake as...
Thank you. That's a relief. Good camera work is essential for craft programmes which is mainly what I watch. I know there must be a constant pressure on costs but robot cameras are a false economy for a shopping channel. I hate them on the BBC too but it just means irritating rubbish shots not...
I'm finding the use of robot cameras on QVC reall difficult as they never seem to able to focus on what is being spoken about and by the time they do the guest or presenter has just put it down. I've always thought Ideal World have had better camera work anyway but do they plan to start using...
You could try soaking them in denture cleansing tablets - put three or four in a bowl of warm water (sufficient to cover the cloths and allow you to agitate them). Leave them for at least an hour but overnight is best and then wash as normal.
:mysmilie_497: I don't post very often either but want to add my support for Graham.(i'm mainly Craft telly) I'm gobsmacked by QVC's attitude as there are far worse things said elsewhere about them than on here. I wonder if they've given the same ultimatum to the 'link' tracking companies about...
Supedrug do an intensive cream - can't remember the exact name but its their own brand and very cheap. My sister had similar problem and it did the trick for her.
