me too, worth every penny, I'd say i used mine today at least 4 times, made 2 lots of smoothies (not all for me), whipped up eggs for french toast, made salsa, grated cheese, and made a cappuccino.

My new one finally arrived today, like the colour, cookbook is so much better than the lakeland one, love the little cup and the little bag it came in. I made the most gorgeous skinny cappuccino, found the recipe online somewhere.. 1 cup skimmed milk, I warm it in the microwave, suppose you...

Interesting! I have a 1100 watt blender and it does not do what the vitamix can do, it is powerful but does not produce smoothies like the vitamin and I suppose thats all that really matters.

From the vitamix website: 2+ Peak Horsepower motor, 220-240 volt, 50 hz, 1100 - 1200 Watts. Don't know if the word 'peak' makes any difference, physics was never my strongpoint! Just interested to know why they say 2hp if its not. some of the other brands, such as the Omniblend or the...

Its supposed to be a 2hp motor, all the 'Creations' models have a five year warranty, as does the Aspire, as sold by Lakeland and both are on the Vitamix website, with 5 year warranties. Its the Total Nutrition Centre versions which have 7 year warranties, they all have the same motor, main...

Thanks for that, I had bought the Aspire form Lakeland only a couple of weeks ago, loved it but I returned it just last week as the jug developed some strange cracks, , I ordered the TSV one, but I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but I miss it so much, was tempted to go back to Lakeland and...

Can I just add to that, when you first get it there is a DVD in the box, its well worth watching before trying anything, when I first got mine I was almost afraid of it, but the DVD explains everything, shows all the things it does and how to do it. The manual also suggests that you follow a...

Jockscrap;Bsj...the spatulas come in a pack of two, and are made in all one piece of white moulded plastic. They are called jar busters if you want to take a look on the Lakeland site. Got them, thanks for the tip!

Haven't tried scrambled eggs, now i wont bother, did the the porridge yesterday, did make hot porridge, but was blended, no bits, not really nice at all and a bit harder to clean than normal, as in the porridge stuck around the blades, but came off after a couple of goes, its usually really easy...

I recently bought one if these, and I have to say its worth every penny, I bought it having researched blenders/juicers, when I took it out if the box I expected to be disappointed after reading all the hype, but it exceeded my expectations, it makes better smoothies than smoothie bars, makes...

EasiYo - as tasty as everyone says or as horrid as it looks?

The yoghurt from easi yo is lovely, the downside is having to buy the sachets, which where I live can be pretty hard to come by. If its natural yoghurt you like then the yoghurt maker from lakeland is excellent, easy to use, and no sachets to purchase, just a couple of teaspoons of natural...

    I've ordered a Slanket!!!!!

They called them something like a cuddle blanket, I just stumbled across them, my local one had 3 colours, maybe they have just come in. I found them beside the cushions and soft furnishings.

She also says in beauty shows, "this will have a devastating effect on your skin" !!!
  19. B

How long have you been watching QVC?

Around 14 /15 years for me, first purchase was a skincare range called hydron (i think)!
