I've bought several Lock n Lock packages from QVC, they are better than most similar type brands in that they don't warp so easily BUT my hubby has managed to rip the lock down flaps off quite a few off them, no matter what Malcolm & his 'its been flapped a trillion times' machine says.

I remember buying something similar from QVC aeons ago - Steve Whately was the presenter! The chap demoing it made it look so easy, but in reality I had to push the veg with so much force to get it to slice I nearly took my fingers off! Went in the bin pronto:4:

Why do they let Carla (I think she's called) ex IW guest present with Tiganello bags on QVC? Surely if it means sales then whats the problem? (or do QVC hold that big a grudge????)

Those Charlie Lapson bags were just hideous, with equally hideous prices to match. Why can't QVC just get in some decent fashion & accessories that don't cost a months wages. I don't watch QVC half as much as I used to, the stuff is just over priced tat.

I have used the Kipling Brownie for years, it is quite large though, but it does have loads of card slots & room for stamps, vouchers etc. I have recently bought a New Money purse, as I fancied a smaller purse for a change. It is good but doesn't have many card slots, but i had a Kipling Visit...

I had a Marcel Drucker watch last Christmas, lovely watch but the clasp kept springing open so it had to go back.

Always use a small flame/heat and let the pan heat up. It takes a few minutes longer with cast iron, but as Malcolm said 'Let the pan do the cooking not the burner'. I love my Le Creuset, I always get mine from TK Maxx or the outlet shop in Clarks Village, Somerset when I'm up that way.

Couldn't agree more. Why do these US styled 'dresses' always resemble shapeless shrouds? I couldn't believe someone would pay £44 for the privilege as well!! No wonder Sharon the model was wearing shades, wanted the anonymity more like. I think I'd rather be seen in an IW kaftan!!!:eek:
