Gahhhhh. I flicked over to the shopping channels whilst the kids were playing in the gerden, thinking I could persuade hubby to buy me something nice to make up for the USB stick for Xmas and the Iphone case for my birthday.... it was billed as a "coloured diamond clearance" and I love blue...

I thought that the other night - they kept bringing back an 11 ct tanzanite and diamond ring - which frankly, was making me sad because I was lacking the near on five grand to buy it - practically ever other item! It was driving me mad! N x

I have to admit, it's over a year since I bought anything from Gems but this week I've stuck a couple of things in my basket from the web auction, and the clearance. I thought you used to get ten days? or am I mixing it up with Rocks? I've had my final notice email already! N x

Today I received an email from Jon james, who has found all the original emails about the lost returns parcel and has offered to refund me immediately if I can remember what it was I returned.... he even provided the details of my order so i could try and ascertain what the returned items were...

And also to add, everyone I am in touch with who buys from Rocks says Jainey is lovely - I'm sure she is. I have just rubbed her up the wrong way!

Yes, Sazza, they are all older items - I have so much from there, I take my time to wear it all! Perhaps that is the case. I'm wary of contacting them again now because I sent such a stroppy email to them, I think they've lost patience with me. perhaps I should try again? n x

I didn't think of that - although I think I have no chance at all of recouping my original return I still have the empty ring settings and suchlike from recent breakages, and my snapped bracelet.... maybe they could trace them for me? N x

I assume the presenters are treating heat and irradiation as the same thing, however misinformed their terminology is. I was happy to hear that they don't coat anyway! n xx

I've just had a good rummage around GemsTV's website and found the general enhancements page - then checked the item spec for a specific item but any enhancements weren't mentioned. am I right in thinkg you just have to assume? they don't tell you on specific items? Sorry to be thick Nikki x

I srongly suspect some of them are looking to criticise. one of them once told me a ring "didn't have big diamonds" - but since I'd bought it for the tanzanite that wasn't massively important to me! n x
