I've just been on the internet and bought a Galton & Simpson Four phase semi-automatic with genuine Faux leather strap. G&S have been in existence for decades and are considered by many to be one of the leading heritage brands. Each G&S time piece (actually, I should say collectors piece)is...
Loved Peter S's segment the other night when he was speaking about people 'being cold'. He sounded like one of those announcers who used to come on TV at the end of the evening to warn people to lock their doors/windows, make sure the gas was off and the TV unplugged.
I know nowt about smartphones in general - amazingly I just use my own mobile for making/taking calls! With that in mind, and WRT the iphone 7, when were these versions introduced to the market?
I'm loving Peter's 'presidential addresses' at the top of his shows. 'Sincerity' factor 11. Did I mishear, or did he say the I-Phone he was selling had a 3D screen?
Also Ginger Bun Man; Peter said he was 'a TV favourite'? Personally speaking, I've never seen him outside his couple of...
A dumb question, but yesterday the VE watch strap (I forget the model - the one with the aeroplane on the case back) was described as having its strap made from 'PVD'? I'm guessing you watch guys know what this is, care to enlighten me?
Thanks, but I was interested to learn why he has suddenly disappeared from IW schedules? Is is just routine turnover of product demonstrators, or something else?
I would imagine he was a fairly popular face on the channel?
The thread title says it all. Up until a few weeks ago Lloyd (Ashford-Thom) was a regular on IW demonstrating products. Now he's disappeared? Does anyone know why?
It might be fun to try and spot these 'luxury' timepieces on the wrists of IW presenters who claim to own them. If course they could be saving them for best.............
I was dipping in and out of the show so may be mistaken on the actual model, but I think it was the gold SM Did anyone else notice that the sweep hand wasn't working? Was this some feature I don't know about or was it bust?
The amount of airtime given to them tells us there must be a market for all these emerging 'luxury' brand wristwatches? Lord knows who buys them, but somebody must?
Yes, it's a little bit like ground hog day sometimes! There was a time, not all that long ago, when there was a good variety of goods on offer, now every time I tune in it seems to be some unheard of (outside the IW sphere) 'luxury' watches.
