Were the phone lines shaky or computers down - something that happens frequently on channels like bid up etc where there is computer ordering facilities.? Are you implying, however that they have insecure customer finance details? If so It might be...

    Gutted - stone fell out

Jon is, I suspect John Bennett, one of the Directors and Steve's bro and I have always found him to be most helpful and he has sorted out any glitches I have had. So good he has stepped in and shows the power of having a Forum like this to air problems.

    Whilst people are voicing disappointment....

What a run of horror! I have never had a serious problem in loads of buys with Rocks but I guess I have just been lucky. On the credit side - CS have thrown a few freebies in the shape of Milano bag and a Collector's Box with tubs next day.

How long for Kunzite to fade

Phone CS and ask befrore you arrange a replacement. Quote from a website on Kunzite which has a fading notoriety. Kunzite is a very attractive pink gem, but is notorious for its habit of color fading in strong light. Some deep pink stones have turned nearly colorless from fading. Although the...

What do you want from your Jewellery Supplier?

Sorry - a generalisation. In my experience Indian Alexandrite lacks the strong colour change capability of good older Ural Russian Alex which is very rarely available these days. I have examined a Russian Alex made into a ring in the early 20th Century and it was astounding. The main thrust of...

Like Tsavorite and Alexandrite they find lower quality stones in other places like neighbouring Kilimanjaro edging countries , I beleive. Alex and Tsav now found in Madagascar and India. One of the commonest gems is Diamond as they find new seams almost daily but the naughty Cartels keep them...
