    Stockpiling...

Well I think people have started stockpiling again. There were long queues at some Banks and Building Societies this morning and the food stores were very busy. Some of the longest queues were at the greeting card shops. I got my usual shopping as the shops I go to were all well stocked and no...

If this costs more than £15 it’s overpriced IMO.

    Julia Roberts

I was speechless when I saw this woman today she looks absolutely terrible in that get up. How can they think they are fashionistas when they are dressed like that. And as for Julia well she has lost the plot completely and as I and many others have said surely she can get her feet into a proper...

There is a Booths not far from where I live and they still had the ground coffee machine last time I shopped there. I remember the Christmas Catalogue and it was full of delicious food and drink but I don’t know if they still do one these days.

iLife Boffy I have the Kenwood and have had it years but these days I only use it once a week on average. I also have a Morphy Richards small food mixer which I use more these days as don’t bake as many large cakes as I used to. I was in the Lakeland shop last week and they have the full range...

    Oh my word

I agree some of the presenters look ridiculous in these so called fashion hours. JR was on with B&W’s range yesterday and she looked awful in that long glitter fronted top and when is she going to ditch those bluddy trainers and get some comfortable stylish shoes.

    Ann Dawson is back

I was just about to start a post about Anne. She is looking lovely. Well groomed and just enough makeup. She looks better now than she did when she was much younger.

Sacrificing Christmas celebrations so all of us are here to celebrate next year is no problem for me. I’ve loved being a member of this forum especially this year as it makes you realise we are all in it together no matter where we live and hearing other people’s problems sometime makes your own...

I’m overdue for a hair cut and my daughter who is a hairdresser has to stay in isolation for two weeks as a work colleague tested positive. Fortunately my daughter tested negative, so haircut for me is delayed.

Please don’t miss your hospital appointments your eyes are precious and can’t be neglected. I have been to my local hospital and GP surgery for flu *** and everything was running smoothly in both. Just take a mask and keep cleaning your hands.

    Lockdown reading

I have read a lot recently but I use a kindle. The Wild Silence by Raynor Wynn which is a follow up to The Salt Path and Homesick: Why I live in a shed also a follow on from her first book. These are factual and I enjoyed them all. I’ve also read Who killed Miss Finch by Peter Boon and far too...

    TV charity appeal

I remember it very well as my three children very young at the time and it really hit home. I also saw the documentary and it brought it all back to me. I hope and pray it never happens again.

    High Prices

I can’t imagine who the people are who sit at home and fall for the spiel. Those biscuits were a ridiculous price along with all the othe food items Q sell. These days there is so much choice in the supermarkets and on line at nowhere near the prices they charge at Q.

    Skechers TSV 11/10/20

They look good as a walking boot but not for me. Bit disappointing as I was looking forward to possibly buying my first sketchers boots. Will have to have a look and see what else is on offer.

I have the kindle paper white and it has been well used of late. I also did a jig saw in the early lockdown and then I got the crotchet hook out and made some blankets for new great grandson in May. So then I got the bug and bought more wool and made a rainbow blanket/ throw. I’m now back to the...

    Kim & Co TSV 01/10/20

Just watching J.R. On the Kim&co presentation and she is wearing the TSV. She looks ridiculous in those trousers they are baggy and just awful and if I was considering buying them (I’m not) it would put me off completely.

    Amazon warehouse

I agree, I recently purchased a small item costing less than a fiver but when it came it was the wrong one. My fault, but when I clicked to return it they gave me a refund and told me to keep the other item. Do you think QVC would have done the same? I doubt it.

    Stockpiling...

It’s ridiculous people never learn. There is only a shortage if people stockpile. I went in a supermarket this week and toilet roll aisle was half empty yet we have a large paper mill in the town churning out thousands every day and they have said there won’t be a shortage. Why do people feel...
