Attempt of refusal of refund if 50+% of product used under 30 day MBG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally I have found Q's CS to be very good, barring one ring which broke after about nine months and I found out their jewellery guarantee is only six months and they wouldn't do a thing about it, but that was years ago. However, I find this whole saga unbelievable. I have heard them say on...

Where do you keep/store your jewellery?

I bought mine when it was a tsv and have never regretted it. I'm not sure how often they have them in stock. Yes, the WHD is mine, but he's a standard, not a miniature - he weighs a whopping 15 kilos! That photo was taken quite a few years ago. He's 14 now and blind, but still gorgeous!

Where do you keep/store your jewellery?

I have the Lori Greiner wall mounted mirror. No quality issues whatsoever and I love it!

    New graphics - complete redesign!

The sad thing for me is that I couldn't care less anymore, but I do hope that at some point they'll be able to entice me back.

    Glenn Lehrer Ring with Photos

I also love big, bold rings, but the height of this one just looks excessive to me, as does the price. Maybe I'm wrong, but the way I understand it, for the first few appearances by Glenn Lehrer the pieces were cut by him and commanded huge prices. Now he has trained a couple of Steve's gem...

    Cats' Eye Zultanite

That's exactly how I feel too Meesh, I used to love watching Don with Steve, really looked forward to their shows together. Now, I'm afraid I don't believe a word anyone on the channel spouts and that includes the lovely John. I don't buy or watch anymore, but I used to watch John and think...

One item only in baskets - coming your way

I'm like you Miss Kitty, I like to build up a big basket over five days so that Mr DPD only has to come once. However, I've been so disillusioned recently with the vast majority of presenters and the general screechy, manic presenting styles, heartbeat music etc., that I haven't watched or...

    KitchenAid TSV Tues 6th March

Come on now Frazzled, think positively, with the way medical science is going, you and I have probably got another five decades left!!! :clapping: It does seem a lot of money, but if you use it regularly, I'm sure it's worth it. My DD is an avid baker and recently when her old (cheap) mixer...

Fit of pique, TIME OUt for Q

I've also never had a review rejected and I've left some real stinkers. I've seen threads on here before that are suspicious of Q's claims that the reviews are dealt with by an outside company because the negative ones have been rejected. There have been quite a few occasions where I haven't...

More Desperate Sales Techniques by Flint

DB was obviously thinking of your first option brissles - hence the inability to use a mouse!

How are they still in business?

I am constantly amazed at their prices and that there seem to be so many people who are prepared to pay them. They also seem to sell out of items on the first price drop and their customers don't seem to realize that they will drop the price again, sometimes several times, so they are clearly...

Omg debbie selling a £200 necklace

She doesn't come across as being interested in the products to me, just the sales, hence the hard sell tactics that she constantly uses. I agree with dottiebird, a market stall is more suited to her.

i really do try to love

I too so try to love Gems, but because of the presenting style have only watched on my PC with mute and mostly buy from the missed auctions. Is it my imagination or have prices risen quite sharply since the start of the year? I agree that R&C's stones are often far superior, but I also think...

Clarisonic Face & Body TSV 10 Feb

That appears to be just the facial one, whilst the TSV is Face and Body, so it's bound to be a better deal. Having said that, why oh why do QVC keep repeating their TSVs? It would have been lovely to have a Mia this time.

Laura Geller balance and brighten....opinions please :)

I too love B&B, in fact it was the make-up I used for my daughter's wedding, together with some Bronze & Brighten (the medium is a little light for me) and Blush & Brighten. It does give a light coverage, but I couldn't bear to use a liquid foundation and I don't wear anything at all if I'm not...

Yankee Candle TSV Monday 16th January 2012

Perhaps you would prefer their double wick candles, they come in very simple straight sided jars and burn better and more evenly. I found a large Wisteria YC in TKMaxx today, half price and no p&p, so couldn't resist it. Am burning it now, it's lovely, but then I much prefer the flowery...

Do Gems give a limit on how many items you can return?

I don't think they do have a limit (can't imagine Steve going for that) because although I have kept quite a lot, I've also sent loads back. Mainly this is because I find most of the presenters very difficult to listen to, so I buy off the web and they really don't give very much information on...

    QVC v IW forum readers

Can't remember the Spanish man, but they used to do a few lovely ranges of American jewellery. Can't remember their names exactly, but there was something like Generation 1912, Duneier and a lady (Judy?) who brought the most gorgeous range of rainbow sapphires. I think the only North American...
