The TSV is quite pretty as a table centrepiece, but I think it's overpriced, and I'm certainly not buying it.

    The Outerwear Directive TSV 07/09/18

Awful. They all look like bags of spuds in it. Baggy and shapeless, and rubbish colours. Have a look in Sainsbury's. https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/search?text=coatigan&searchBlog=false

Jeeez, just watched the first few seconds of the video, and the Plus size lass looks like a barage balloon.

    The Pet Photo Thread!

It’s been a stressful few days. Our cat was admitted to vet hospital on Monday with acute urinary retention. He had an operation today to remove stones from his bladder, and in the process they found other issues. Long story short, it doesn’t look good for him in the longer term, assuming he...

Seems very expensive to me. Loved the last TSV, but only wanted the single drop. I haven’t room for any more, and it was mainly the vase I wanted, really. This one (if it is the TSV) leaves me a bit cold.

    Molton Brown

Carex does nicely for me. I buy it in 5L containers at Costco, for around £7, I think it is.

Is nothing mains powered anymore ????

I bought some battery powered multi coloured LED xmas fairy lights a few years ago. Star shapes; initially I was very pleased with them. After a couple of hours (hours!!) two of the 4 colours faded and stopped lighting up. I thought they were faulty, but my DH tells me that some colours of...

    Reversible trousers? That's just weird.

    I went camping once.

Elmslie, that's it. Memory is getting shocking these days! Nice violet jumpers, although I expect they all grew to loathe all shades of purple! I remember the QM brown bowler hats. I thought their uniform was very sophisticated! I think I'm a few years older than you Akimbo, so even if I'd...

I like to think I may have gone there myself, if we hadn't emigrated a couple of months prior to me taking the 11+. We lived in Freck' at the time and QM's was our nearest GS, otherwise it would have been Carr Hill at Kirkham. I rather fancied myself in the lovely purple uniform at (?)Elmfield...

Yong Kim breaks the £200 barrier

Wow! I have some YK clothes, mostly bought from ebay though. Never paid full price for anything, and no polyester ones, mine are all a nice weighty viscose jersey.

Yes, I know I'm old fashioned.........

I had a lovely holiday in Amalfi some years ago. Stunning. But oh, so crowded.

Just as an aside. I am really getting pig sick of this silly trend to call Beige things 'Nude'. Firstly, an inanimate object cannot be 'Nude'. Secondly, there is no such colour as 'Nude', since no two naked bodies are the same shade. It's BEIGE for crying out loud! (And it's dead boring).

Ugly, overpriced pot in an array of dismal colours? No, thank you.

Fresh isn't a word I'd use to describe carbolic, really. I'd say it's a more 'medicinal' antiseptic type of smell. Only oneway to find out though, and that's to buy a bar and see what you think. You can always use it up on household jobs if you hate it.

    Mr Max Fashion TSV 14/08/18

I might have been in the market for a pair of navy trousers, but watching the video presentation online has put me right off! They don't fit any of the models properly, there are cat's whiskers and drag lines galore, even on the slim models. The larger model looks like she's got dressed from...

Yes, I know I'm old fashioned.........

My MIL still gets misty eyed at the memories of going out dancing on a Saturday night, wafting a trail of Soir de Paris! I bought her a bottle a few years ago, assuming they had relaunched a version of it, but sadly she said it smelled nothing like the one she used to wear.

    TU Clothing in Sainsburys

Thanks for the heads up TLL! I bought a faux leather biker jacket in the last 25% off deal, cost me about £25 including delivery. It's beautiful, and feels like the real McCoy, nobody would guess it's not real leather.
