In fairness to the presenter, an explanation was given at the weekend.
If any of you were watching on Saturday you may understand why Anettka may have felt compelled to post his/her opinion on here.
I think the name calling is the issue here PPC. It really is upsetting to the presenter.
Were you watching at the weekend? You may have heard her explanation for the claim...
Hi Issie, some time ago, I recall Nush saying something like, "I'm working on some special projects, so I won't be around as much" or words to that effect. So, I don't think she has been pushed out.
Hi Faerie,
I agree. The updated site does have a classy feel to it. However, like you, I've noticed some things that need fixing.
- The Falling Auction prices no longer refresh automatically which means it times out without showing the final price. I have to keep on pressing F5 on my...
Lol! I think Stacey was well suited to this type of sales pitch she did really well; all that frenetic energy and and fast talking. Quite exciting if you like that sort of thing... (but hey, I know you dont)
Stacey was at her frenzied best.
As far as I could tell, the marketing pitch worked. I think a lot of people were taken in by it as the pieces appeared to be selling faster than normal.
All in all, a very cunning piece of work from TJC's marketing team :bandit:
I've just been watching TJC's tanzanite day and Stacey mentioned that the Tanzanian Government has banned the export of raw tanzanite - TJC are currently running this as 'Breaking News' and are incoporating this info into their sales pitch.
I found a link to the news story (date 28-04-10) for...
Genuineshopper, you have my sympathy. I certainly wouldn't be happy about being misled about an item - 'similar' is quite different from 'same'. I would give them another call and try to get them to send a pre-paid return envelope as it's their mistake. V. annoying!
Yes, I agree, it would be better if she slowed things down a little.
My only real gripe is the "Shall we do a Queen's Wave" thing she does - it's a bit... well, dumbed down.
Well I for one really enjoy watching Chloe. I find her entertaining. So what if her fashion tips chop and change from day to day - it's all part of the sales patter.
TJC prices are, generally speaking, quite good but they need to fix the anomolies in their systems:
I've seen falling auction prices go up instead of down so the final price is higher than the starting price; And I've also spotted fixed catalogue items selling at lower prices than the falling...
I've been watching the Under £50 Day on TV and have seen a piece sell for £10 MORE that it is selling for on the website! Same item code, same weight.
Buyers beware.
Klosblue, like you I hadn't (until yesterday) watched Rocks & Co in ages. However, I was pleasantly surprised... R&C's gold weights seem to have gone up AND their prices are now more competitive with a range for all pockets. I would go as far as saying that I will watch more often now - love...
