Lol! I think both the Alison's are a complete pain. AY bellows in that shrieking, nasally way, while the one just bellows. Also AY has made her name on being quite rude and forthright with her colleagues so if she reads this and doesn't like it - tough! :tongue2:

I used to use LG make-up but found I often looked 'muddy' so I changed to Smashbox after reading about it on here and have found it to be perfect for me. The only LG product I still use (and love) is her Ethereal Rose.

I'd never seen a Radley bag so I went and had a look and they're not my taste either. A bit too gimmicky for me. One other thing....why do they keep saying we 'wear' bags, on QVC? It just doesn't sound right for some reason. Btw, I'd keep the bag if I loved it and could afford it!

I rather liked the crochet top too. Sort of like a tent with holes.

Joints of meat are gorgeous in a slow cooker, I agree Dazzler. Lamb comes up lovely when done that way too. In fact, it's so often better than roasting cos it's guaranteed to come out beautifully.

My Mum once knitted me this beautiful long black mohair coat thing which I adored. One day my (then) baby daughter honked all over it in the Co-Op. It was ruined.:thinking2:

In the last show, ceejay. He said something like that's why he wanted to make all women happy. It was quite touching as he briefly mentioned how his horrible Dad made his Mum so sad.

My QVC goodies arrived today - all dumped on the doorstep while I was *in*. I'm sending two things back! No more back of cupboards or insisting I'll wear it 'one day'. Nope, I'm biting the bullet and returning it. Yay!

Indeed! At times she looked like she didn't know what to do next. Natalie looked postively unimpressed while Beth treated the whole experience with real gusto. I thought he was great fun and when he told us about his Mum and his rotten Dad I warmed to him even more.
