That's a shame, I need a new winter coat. Oh well, a trip to the White Rose will do nicely. Problem is I won't just buy a new coat. 😒

    Christmas Gift Ideas TSV 16/09/23

I remember my brother having one of these years ago. Cost him under a tenner. He got sick of it after a week, haven't seen it since.

    £5 off code

I get Amazon prime, free postage on whatever I order and delivered next day. Can't beat it really. Mind you my Boots order came in 2 days and was free delivery. I think most companies have free delivery these days. Or even if your order is over so much delivery is free. I probably would buy...

Lovemore by Motsi Mabuse TSV 12/09/23

I would never pay £500 for a perfume. Gosh what a price. The dearest I have had is Dior's j'adore and miss Dior. They were both bought to me by my brother. I do love Lancome's Tresor and Rosa Excelsor by D & G. I have 4 x 10ml sprays of Shay and Blue but am not keen on any of them.

Wow how snobby Is that. I'm afraid I don't have a cleaner. The OH has had to do it all since I have been incapacitated though, does that count as having a cleaner?

She is called Millie. A temperamental gitbag some days. 😄, but we love her. We are not far from Huddersfield. Didn't know about the station cat. Will have a look for that. Thanks. Agree the perfume looks cheap. Hope those who buy it, like it. Seems very inexpensive for an EDP.

Guerlain's Insolence is my favourite "violet" perfume. I love it and have done for years. Only now they have changed the bottle and the perfume isn't quite as nice, although guerlain reckon they have just changed the packaging. It's still a lovely perfume but just lacking something, no idea...

Wish I worked for boots, think of the commission I would get. I have had time on my hands with my broken pelvis to trawl through websites. I just had to buy this, it just seemed such a bargain. It does not have a nasty smell, I am finding I like it. I was going to try Judith Williams Collagen...

Proper bargain. I also got the extra 400 points as it was over £20. The "offers just for you" are sometimes brilliant.

I hate high necks on jumpers as well Toril, makes me feel like I'm being throttled. Surely this is just a plain ordinary pole neck. Cost about eight quid at Asda living. Don't understand why it's called a mock neck. Seems a weird thing to call a polo neck.

    L'Occitane TSV 17/09/23

My hubby totally rates l'Occitane aftershave Balm. Doesn't use anything else these days. I always get him a couple at Christmas. He thinks the shower gel is average and hates the Eau de Toilettes. He thinks QVC should do a TSV of purely aftershave balm, with all the different flavours. I...

    A Whiff of Old

How old is an "old person"? I am not young at all and I get my pension, but I don't have a mothball in the house.

Think I'll stick to Holland and Barrett. Although I like vitabiotics as well. This tsv is far too expensive for me I'm afraid.

I was browsing Boots website yesterday, Christmas 3 for 2 is up and running already. I took a fancy to trying Boots Collagen so with 3 for 2 offer, plus 10 percent off, I got day cream, night cream and serum for £21.60 plus an extra 400 points as I spent over £20. Very happy, let's hope the...

    Quick question

When I was young I remember my dad making tea in teapots, then putting it on the hob to trottle away. Result was very stewed treacle coloured tea. Was not very nice but that's the way he liked it.

    Qvc on Facebook

I do Facebook to see what my niece and nephew are up to, they don't live far away (Leeds) but Iike to see their photos of the kiddies when they are all off somewhere at the weekends. I am in a hedgehog group, we have them visiting every night and have 2 houses, both of which are currently...

    Garden Pick of the Month

That's still expensive for 2 x 12cm plants. Morrys had them as plant of the week last year and we're a decent size for £2.99 each.

Car crash AE. Some bloke smashed into my side of my brother's car. Dreadful experience being cut out by fire brigade. But the emergency services were all brilliant, ambulance man even came to visit me in the ward at LGI. Anyway healing now, still difficult to walk properly and have pulled...
