My friend, who I think has the same concerns as you, re ageing skin and foundation, has just tried the Olay tinted moisturiser, and it really works for her.

    Colours

If it was pink, they wouldn’t call it pink, it would be ‘cloudy sunlight’ or some such silly name, which bears no resemblance to the actual colour. Jackie and Nina have just shown a pair of boots called ‘dark mauve’ I don’t know why it says that, says Jackie, they’re not dark, and they’re not mauve!

Probably concocted from all the different left over yarn from her other jumpers. I had lots of ‘patchwork’ jumpers in the 50’s knitted by mom to use up all the left over wool.

Me too!! I’ve got several bottles standing upside down , as we speak! I find there is always loads left in tubes when they won’t ‘squeeze out’ anymore.

Although I prefer smaller sizes, I do expect that to be reflected in the price. Nearly £70 for what are not much more than sample sizes, and we are expected to believe that the normal QVC price is £132 + p&p?

During the war, my mom said that one of their cats came in dragging a piece of steak. Her mother took it off the cat, washed it, and the family had it for their tea!

I much prefer smaller sizes. I don’t want gallon tubs of product. I like to use different things, get bored of the same lotions and potions after a while, that’s why I quite like the Tili skincare boxes, that offer a mix of various makes to try.

    What in God's name ....?

I think Pans People would have been a little before Jilly s time

    Who buys this stuff??????

All the 50+ presenters / BA’s / guests ,are in their element, being right on trend, proudly talking of their menopausal symptoms ( hot sweats, foggy brain , tiredness etc) at every turn. But what of the poor 30 - 40 somethings who haven’t reached the dizzy heights of menopause yet?? Never fear...

    Has Chloe Everton left QVC?

Ann only appears occasionally . Perhaps she’s semi retired now, I’m sure she has other irons in the fire too. Spends a lot of time in Italy, where I think she has a home.

    In process...

I must have been lucky! Ordered a Liz Earle serum on Tuesday, and it arrived Saturday.

Trouble is, her range was way overpriced for what it is. Diamonique in silver is a similar price, and it is marketed as ‘proper’ jewellery, and to last for years. Customers are encouraged to message in with pics of their pieces, and how long ago they were purchased.

According to the models, and Debbie, it appears to come up on the small side. I can never see the point in having an expensive waterproof coat which barely covers your backside! Top half would stay dry, but your legs would get soaked!

    Flinty and Kangas

The companies seem to be just QVC suppliers anyway. They don’t appear to have any other outlets, or any presence in the fashion retail world.

Has Km also given up the ghost? She hasn’t appeared to promote her new offerings this week, even on video calls. Just that strange promo where she tells us to wear clothes that fit if we want to stay healthy ( what’s all that about?) She used to do video calls from her home, where she had a rail...

What channels do they broadcast on? Are they on Freeview? Their presentations certainly look more calmer and professional than Ideal World!

    Flashes? Flushes?

The guest who is demonstrating the new tili bag with Debbie Flint, and Catherine Huntley yesterday, both said flashes. I’ve heard it more and more over the last few weeks. It really annoys me! To me, the definition of flash is it’s over in about two seconds, and menopausal flushes last a little...

    Flashes? Flushes?

With all the talk of menopause on QVC, shoehorning it in with almost every product, have you noticed what was always referred to as ‘hot flushes’ some of the presenters and BA’s have gone all American, and have begun to say ‘hot flashes’
