I saw a bit of Andy today and he once introduced himself as "the artist formally known as bid-up" then he went on to say "prices used to go up on bid-up, they don't any more and people still call us bid-up too! Don't know why!"

'Bob' was originally a bid-up.tv thing. Andy Hodgson would often refer to Bob as 'Bob the Warehouse' in bid's early days.

They've been trying bid plus since November and that set is in the same studio as speed auction meaning speed auction's set has been reduced drastically in size.

Speed Auction is now LIVE on channel 32 on freeview. Some might need to rescan. It's currently showing pre-recorded sales.

It seems like they're phasing Speed Auction out for bid plus. The hours of Speed Auction seem to be decreasing every night.

Well, channel 32 is where Big Deal used to be which currently has nothing on it. I'll be interested to know what their broadcasting hours are. If it's true, why has it taken them so long to get the channel on freeview?

There's a new guy on Speed Auction doing some Jewellery and in a new set with revised graphics. Is it re-launching?

It's confusing. At the moment Speed Auction is 'LIVE' and on the top left corner it says "bid shopping replay" The price is moving but the quantity isn't.

Another flash clearance on price-drop right now.....again with Mr MacDonald. They're being very creative with the camera angles too.

How come it's off air for 6 months?

For the last three days Speed Auction has been showing pre-recorded demonstrations. Have they finally given the channel the boot or are they filming in the speed auction studio?

I'm getting fed up of these sudden "Flash Clearances" and two day Warehouse Clearances. I remember the times when Warehouse Clearance used to be on all channels and lasted 6 weeks during the summer and two weeks starting from boxing day.

In the mornings it either seems to be the Guy or Caroline show...

Big Brother maybe?

I don't find them boring but i am getting bored of seeing the same two presenters alternate every morning. Give us someone different in the mornings. Maybe Bennyxp?

No caps unfotunately. Something worth noting: The strap had "LIVE EVENT" popping up as usual but above the website it had "Bid Shopping Replay" There was also an apology screen which played a 30 second loop of the last bid tv music. Sally didn't apologise about what happened.
