    Lock & Lock TSV 04/09/24

I've got a set of 4 previously from QVC, can't remember the sizes or price, but think they were all smaller than 1L (1000ml)

I fast fwd through everything except the dances, there is so much hype now, flashing lights everywhere, somstimes you can't even see the dancers because of the lighting effects projected onto the floor. Recently they re-showed the first one, it was so much better without all the things...

YES if you watch anything live on any channel, but NO if everything you watch is streamed from recordings, but if it's being streamed live then you need a licence. Martin Lewis has good info about it, unbiased, unlike the BBC.

    Sudden Change in Price

On-demand pricing, just like Oasis and airline tickets etc. As I said recently on another thread, I watched an 8 minute presentation about some lights, they kept saying they were £18 for 2, but when I tried to buy them, they were £25 :( I think the thread I started was called "Big Deal - NOT".

    Oasis tickets!

I loved Wuthering Heights and I bought the CD it was on, and CDs had only recently become available. I played it through, and disliked most of the tracks, but I recorded it onto casette anyway and then returned the CD (you could in those days as they were very expensive). Then I played the...

    Oasis tickets!

I saw Steekeye Span in a small theatre when they had just started to become known. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but my wife left after a few songs because of the excessive volume.

    Oasis tickets!

I used to practise my drums to Up Town Girl as it had such a strong rock beat.

    Oasis tickets!

I like Elkie, i have DVDs and CDs and I have also seen her live twice over the last 10 years, I think she told the audience she was 70, but still as good as ever. They were in a small theatre so quite an intimate performance.

Yes, it premiered in Plymouth before going to the West End, then all over the world.

    Oasis tickets!

I find this TV programme (film) very poignant, and set in 1959. Written by Philip Norman, one of Buddy's biographers and a fan. I watch it from time to time, very good acting. Set in and around Cromer and the pier in the UK, and in the US during Buddy's last tour. It alternates between the two.

    Oasis tickets!

I am an avid Buddy Holly fan and I think I have everything he ever recorded, including studio chat, rehearsals, outakes, alternative versions, versions before the vocal backing was put on, undubbed versions of the demos he recorded at home, and even when he was about 10 and his voice had not...

    I've never liked TB.

    Oasis tickets!

I watched Elvis Costello in a concert on TV recently when he was middle aged with an orchestral backing, and thought it was boring. And no-one could say he's got a good voice!

Yes, it was the Blueflames, but I was too lazy to type it out ;)

    Michael Perry

It has always surprised me how many really good looking men turned out to be gay eg Cary Grant, the man from Torchwood, George Michael etc.

Easiyo - not even greek yogurt setting

The new-design jars come with a stick-on thermometer, which promptly come unstuck, useless rubbish. I have had to replace most of my original-design jars with the new design as so many have biodegraded and cracked up. And I've also gone through about 3 outer pots, which have virtually fallen...

    Tefal TSV 20/08/24

I will probably return it, it's not worth my while to keep it. If I showed my steamed shirt to anyone, I'm sure they would think that it needs ironing. Once again, I think the demo was "smoke and mirrors" (remember the burnt-on oven grease that was probably just gravy browning)? I think they...

    Unfunny comedians

BTW I recommend that film as a tense thriller, once it dawns on you what it is about.
