You can buy Bench clothing at the original factory shop. The labels are double printed with the "RRP" and the so-called "discount price" which is a devious sales tactic if ever there was one. A bit like what is done on IW in fact. There is no real discount. They coupled Yiannis the Yawnfest...

We've already had the "first frosts of winter" and the "we already know we could be in for bad weather" speeches. He goes from boiling summer to freezing winter with nothing in between. In his little world there are no leaves falling, there is no season of mists and mellow fruitfulness...

That's right. Peter V is like the janitor who is brought into class as a teaching assistant. He's not qualified to do anything useful. That's why he's quite good at mop and bucket demonstrations.

Which one is the oxy and who is the moron?

"I'm not asking you to buy, just to try." Well that's not true is it? I have to pay the 1st flexi plus any p/p which I won't get back. And my consumer rights give me 30 days to return not you! Very poor and disingenuous selling technique.

Peter, go back to Domestos or whichever Greek island you were lurking around. Your mouth spews out so much crap that it needs disinfecting. As Brian Clough would say "you are a bloody disgrace!"

Reeves doesn't think some pensioners deserve the winter fuel allowance but claims thousands in heating for her London home. Not content with this hypocrisy she robs the pensioners to pay the train drivers £10K more per year. This is a bloody awful government.

Time/Tiny had a poor reputation for post sales support. Customers got a premium rate telephone number to call which cost a fortune and was very inefficient. The whole group collapsed into oblivion in the early 2000s. The brand was most famous for featuring Leonard Nimoy in a TV advert:

Yeah I had a Gateway 2000 PC. The support of Amstrad computers passed to my company around 1999 when they finished manufacturing them and withdrew from the market. This kept us busy for quite a few years.

I couldn't watch that smug, stupid face for more than 5 seconds. Imbecile.

Pete the Cheat is full of bully. And I often want to brow beat him the daft old twit.

Lindsay all confused with the sucking and blowing actions of the minivac. Thank goodness Peter Vespascooter is on hand to put her straight. The man is a marvel.

As long as the captain and first mate aren't dead ringers for Mason and Simon you'll be OK! Yiannis would make a typical head waiter creepily eliciting tips. I can picture Natalia as chief stoker with her greasy face. And Sally could do a turn as a cabaret singer doubling as a foghorn in bad...

He was Mr Saturday Night TV in the days before Ant and Dec wasn't he? Can't really say they have raised the intelligence or entertainment levels.

Fuel duty rises in the budget will send prices soaring anyway so motorists are in for a tough time. And no, we can't all afford to buy electric cars even if we wanted to and in any case energy costs are going up and they are likely to be paying road tax soon.

Actually I did rather enjoy a break from talking about IW. You tend to see the same comments about the same presenters time and again and some of your own being repeated back at you. The currency of a post is often just a few hours and it feels like we are going round in circles. In fact the...

Indeed it is not. Why I originally commented on it was because some IW presenters were starting to use it as an excuse to sell heaters which I thought was unacceptable. I am a pensioner who doesn't qualify for PC either and so I will miss out on the WFP as well. Not sure what we've done to...

Someone earlier said it is wrong to criticise the personal appearance of presenters. However, I think this is perfectly reasonable when they claim that whatever wonder product they are currently selling has done wonders for their health or looks. For example, Peter Simon often looks like he is...
