    Presenters 'duetting'

She'll pronounce it as 'castor oil' or 'castanets' - olay!

    Gemporia Online

I'm hanging on to a genuine Woolworths red and white carrier bag, circa 1997. I'm hoping one day it'll be worth a million. :ROFLMAO:

Fast fashion - is there anything we can really do?

They seem to want to hang on to the money as long as they can, and if you multiply this by the number of people waiting for a refund for something, then it's all interest for them. I think refunds should be paid out quickly, just good customer relations to do so. But I'm glad you finally got...

    Quartzite Jade REALLY!

Blimey, Ian Towning! He wore so much jewellery round his neck that he reminded me of a combination of BA Barracus (for those who remember that far back), a ship's anchor and the Lord Mayor of London. I liked him, though, and think he knew his stuff.

    The Presenters!

Perhaps he went to Rishi Sunak's tailor? Sunak's pants always looked as though they'd been sprayed onto his legs they were so tight, very unflattering look. Perhaps he couldn't afford a decent tailor? :ROFLMAO: It was embarrassing when he stood next to Macron, who looked like he'd come...

    Quartzite Jade REALLY!

They refer everyone to Safeguard, they've been doing this for years, and probably hope that people don't realise that the valuation they get is for insurance purposes. I'd guess that someone on here who was boasting about 'making a profit on everything' a few weeks back hadn't realised this...

    Michael Perry

I'd forgotten Kathy Taylor! I remember a number of posters saying that her constant harping on about her daughter (?believe she'd been accepted for medical school?) got on their nerves, but I didn't watch her that often so I can't say I remember that bit. I thought she seemed quite down to...

    Oasis tickets!

Just listened to it, and I agree with you, Stratobuddy, it's a big improvement on how I've heard the song in the past. He still chops his words off a bit, particularly a bit at the end where you get 'my lady in r..' and it sort of tails off - when in my book he should have rendered the line...

    Michael Perry

That's the one! Really irritating, going over the same things time after time, except what you wanted to know.

    Oasis tickets!

Have always liked Roger Whittaker's 'The Last Farewell'. Great speaking voice, too, as this nostalgic video clip shows - he would have been ideal for audiobooks.

Well done, Toril. You've done brilliantly, as it can't be easy to lose that much. (y)

    More Gemporia BS!

'Our goal is to provide accurate and valuable information to our viewers...' Need to work on scoring more goals, then. ;)

    Jilly

Just lazy presenting. Probably much easier to just keep repeating what the BA has said, or simply replying in the affirmative rather than wrack your brains to think of something else to say about a dress that looks like it's made from Granny's curtain fabric, circa 1945. Some of them are worse...

    Quartzite Jade REALLY!

If they had been aware from the number of returns that an item was faulty then it's pretty appalling that they didn't hold up their hands and refund the money without quibbling. What makes you sick is all the chat about how reputable they are and how it's all one big happy family - how is this...

Do people really like John Scott

I must remind myself (not) to watch it. :ROFLMAO:

    Presenters 'duetting'

Make-up for stage or TV is different to how most people apply it in real life, but it's also a lot to do with the way it's applied and blended on the skin by the make-up artist. With Ange, Adina and other presenters on the channel I've noticed that if they turn their heads slightly sideways...

Must Have Ideas - New shopping Channel Thoughts, Random Chat and 'witty banter'

Very clear and professional! Just like IW and Gemporia (not).

    Monstrosities

Blimey, I've got better pebbles in my garden. Think I'll pass on this (and it's so cloudy it looks like it's been dipped in wet cement, apart from what looks like off-kilter cutting).

    More Gemporia BS!

Exactly. They are taking the Michael big-time now, the prices are just off the wall. And 1.9 grams gold in a ring is ridiculously thin - how they can even mention (in hushed tones of reverence) that it's set in gold, as though it was such a great deal, I cannot believe (although yeah...

    Quartzite Jade REALLY!

As I've said elsewhere on here, I have jewellery bought years ago from Gemporia that I'm happy to praise - and have done so. Good weights of metal, beautiful stones, innovative design. I would be happy to still praise Gemporia if the quality was there, but wafer-thin metals (in a ring, the...
