Perhaps he regularly 'forgets' his card, and only 'realises' that after having put £70 of diesel into the Rover. He then remonstrates with the poor girl in the kiosk - 'do you know who I am - I used to be on Going-*******-Live'. He still has to fill the form in, and return within 24 hours...

Spot on. I always considered this thread a mine of quality taking-the-piss, with just cause. And IW is a disgrace: there's no getting away from it. They both deserve to have it ripped, and have their sharp practice pointed out whenever it happens. They clearly don't like that.

Totally agree - to clarify, I was agreeing with what you were saying originally

Ah, glucosamine. The poster child for 'a total lack of clinical evidence over a sustained period'.

Do you think they make the show runners eat the food if they **** anything up? I can see Mike growling 'get him a knife and fork' whilst poised over some undercooked, campylobacter-ridden £2.99 chicken.

Oh, Mike. You bore me now - mainly due to your inability to read properly. By the way, it's 'holier than thou', not 'holier-than-though'. Almost as if you were trying to prove the point.

The irony of that is that it was you (breathe) who came onto the thread a few pages back and started making abusive comments towards people completely unprompted. Comments like this, towards a member who said they'd joined the forum in 2017: I'd never even heard of you before today, and...

Don't worry hun - you stick to selling bass reflex sheets and worry angels. We've all got our own special talents in life.

I'll take that to be a 'yes, I struggled', then. If you're asking 'are the people who live in that village generally of the intellect to (a) be able to read English, and (b) logically parse a sentence, then the answer is 'yes'. Cowlinge is quite posh - but you already know that, don't you?

Struggling with the reading again, I see. I suggested that only the stupid would fail to see the difference between the two concepts. I didn't say that you had failed not to see the difference between the two concepts, and was thus stupid. Are you now saying that you did fail to...

She really doesn't, though - far too busy defending Mike of the Masons and instructing her solicitors.

I'm pretty sure I know who you are, so these replies are unsurprising. You also need to learn to read: I didn't accuse you of being stupid: I accused your comment of being stupid. There's a difference. Also, remember that when you delete a post, or change it to something else, the original...

Bit of a stupid thing to say - why wouldn't I believe the things that friends of mine tell me, particularly when they have first-hand knowledge of it?Even more so when it's a well-known pattern of behaviour. People in villages talk, and people can quickly get a reputation - particularly if they...

    Hand Transplant?

Totally agree with you - Lynn Harvey always looked really good - never overly-flashy, or like she'd had one-too-many 'tweakments', but just very well kept for her age. She also came across as a genuine, nice person. I think it's IW's loss that they didn't keep her on (or Sheelagh or the...
