I suspect you are, as my old nan used to say, ‘all mouth and no trousers’.

From the Selly Telly channel that brought us the great smell of ‘Gammon’, next comes ‘Nobby Stiles’. Splash it on all over - the great smell of Nobby. Who’s to say they wouldn’t do it?!! 🤣🤣🤣

The other problem is that Regenecoll has only been a company since 2015 - meaning 9 years even if he bought their very first shipment. Always with the exaggerations, or untruths. I don’t know why he does it. Why not just tell the truth for once, Peter?

He really is either deluded, ignorant, or simply lying. I’ve been a qualified watchmaker for more than 20 years, and I have never actually heard, or seen a William Hunt. The most prestigious watch brands are - Patek Philippe, A. Lange & Sohne, Audemars Piguet, Breguet and Vacheron Constantin...

They said that just before the last time. And the one previously… Actually, to be honest, I don’t want you off the air. I just want you to be better. Not to exaggerate so much. Not to make false claims that you must know aren’t true (think watches). Not to make comparisons and then claim you...

A Peteorite is an ancient crumbly bit of gritstone that once might’ve eaten a Mars bar, but is believed to originate near Uranus. 🤣🤣🤣

I think William Hunt must be based in Yorkshire. 🤣 On the IW website their Eau de Parfum is described as Oud Parfum. Pic attached. Scene: In a northern terrace, 1920s. Man in cloth cap turns to wife, or whippet. Man “Eh up, owr lass, wud thi like a bucket er that Oud Perfume from t’telly fer...

The Swan and Edgar building became Tower Records in the 80’s. I spent far too much time and money there. But I wouldn’t have ever thought about buying a watch from the building at any time. 🤣🤣

My brother bought them all. 😂🤣🤣 Seriously, though, between them and walnut whips I must’ve lost so many fillings as a kid!

I agree with you, Duke. I think their knowledge, at best, is that of the salesperson. Superficially, Kevski seemed ok. But as time went on, the gaps in his knowledge, the mistakes he made, and the bizarre claims he’d come out with, revealed him as, essentially, a bulk importer, not a watchmaker...

This really - truly- is a photo of the place. Check google maps! It’s high-end sophistication!

Had a quick peek. Doesn’t look like the home of sophistication, does it? Love the collection of bin bags dumped on the verge at the entrance. I believe Patek Phillipe looks just the same…… 🤣🤣

Exactly right, Hammy! Last time I bought a new NH35 for a customer I paid £30 plus vat for it. Anyone could make a new watch with an nh35 movement for less than £75.

It’s very nice. Its a very good price, I think. RRP is £799. That ‘Pepsi’ look has a great appeal for me. Mechanism is a Selitta SW-200 (The Selitta version of the ETA 2824-2). The 2824/SW200 is proper watchmaking that you can wear anywhere doing just about anything without worrying. Along...

I’m not surprised, tbh. If you want a quartz analogue chronograph, and tbh I’ve never really been sure who they are aimed at (not as precise as a digital sports timer, nothing to admire technically like an El Primero), I guess I’d look at a Seiko Great Blue (not for diving), or a Logines...

Immediately found it on eBay for £499. That’s getting close to its true value IMO. I’d - honestly - put it around £200-£300 new
