    Elemis TSV 6/12/09

I shall go and dig out my diddy tubes then and have a go, thank you. I think LAK did a fab job - far better than me. But I'm getting there. It might be a daft acronym but it's quite handy to come on here and find a hundred reasons not to buy something - fairly makes you think.

Do you like the island balm then? I only have a couple of 20ml things of that which I've never tried. I like the frangipani though - are they similar in any way? We are talking about you being a rotten FART who is eyeing up other people's purchases after a spectacular fall off the FART...

    Elemis TSV 6/12/09

Oh she's a naughty girl - it's just shocking. I see she's eyeing up your new Philip Kingsley now....... I'm not buying the Elemis TSV either - I've still got shedloads of lime and ginger something or other from the last one and PMC does nowt for my skin other than make me look like as spotty...

You're not falling by the wayside now are you LH? Off the old wagon? Giving up the good fight? We've already seen one fearless leader go that way, it wouldn't do to see another one do the same....... ;)

    Elemis TSV 6/12/09

Well it wasn't a Smashbox DNA mascara :(!! I bought a Mad Lizzie E joy set, a Bobbi Brown lipstick set thingy, the other day I bought the LG Angel Glow body thing because I love the other ones I have, and for the life of me - I can't remember what else! Which for me is quite good, because...

    Elemis TSV 6/12/09

You're very organised - well done that woman! I should try that instead of just going through it all at the end of the month. Although..... (and LoveHeart will like this), I've been very good of late and have only bought about 4 things in the past 2 months. I'm quite chuffed with meself!

    Elemis TSV 6/12/09

No - I think you're right because that would be about £36 as opposed to £27 which seems a bit cheap! I'm fairly sure it was £9 odds a payment though - but 4 x sounds better.

    Elemis TSV 6/12/09

The Christmas one was I think yes - wasn't it 3 x £9 something? How sad am I that I remember that........

    Returned item, didn't even receive

Because QVC are anything but.... as with my feather beds. There was no postal strike then either - they're just really inept sometimes I think!

    Returned item, didn't even receive

They did that with me earlier this year and I was so cheesed off. I wanted to replace my feather bed and the one I have and love was a OTO (half price so only £60). I ordered one for me, one for my son and next thing was after waiting for them, I got the same information by letter which also...

Liz Earle 5 Piece Super Nourishing Skin Treats OTO

I like the moisturiser and I wanted a smaller one to keep in for taking away so I don't have to cart a big pot. I wanted to try the mask (so I'm glad you like it!) and I like the SuperSkin body moisturiser which makes a fab handcream! I'm not keen on the concentrate either, I prefer AD Skin...

Liz Earle 5 Piece Super Nourishing Skin Treats OTO

No - I think you're right! I bought the Christmas surprise the other day which was about the same price and has the 50ml C&P, 50ml Skin Tonic, 15ml Superskin Moisturiser, 2 cloths, 50ml Superskin Body thingy, and a full size 50ml Nourishing Mask. Plus there were samples of the eye cream and...

Liz Earle 5 Piece Super Nourishing Skin Treats OTO

I wish QVC would put up either the photograph, or the product description more quickly. What pests they are when you want to look at something and there's no information there, aren't they?

    What was your last purchase?

Shame on me. Yesterday I bought a Tresonics facial cleansing thingymejig because it has good reviews and I remembered a few forum members saying how much they liked it; and I bought a Liz Earle Christmas Surprise. Slap my wrists...... :taphead:

Smashbox TSV - Wed 11th November

Do you know, that's the only thing that was making it difficult to decide because I hear the Lash DNA is really good? I don't think I want to buy a whole kit just to get the mascara though. Oh you know me so well!!! :flower::thinking2:

Smashbox TSV - Wed 11th November

What a rotten TSV - sorely disappointing. Even I'm not buying this - for once my pennies will be staying put. I think Daisy is quite right - vote with our wallets. This will likely be LoveHeart's most successful campaign ever!

    Pupa Mascara

I could have a look at YSL then too, thank you!

    Pupa Mascara

Oh you're all just toooooo sensible sometimes!!! I didn't buy any Pupa mascaras but I haven't lost the thought. The unopened ones are mascaras I've already tried like Prescriptives, Estee Lauder, Lancome etc. Almerinda is quite right - we spend forever looking for the 'holy grail of...

    Pure Silver - Philip Kingsley

Ah, thanks for that! I'm using the John Frieda one that's the same as Aveda's Blue Malva (which didn't work for me ) and I had been debating Matrix So Silver. My hairdresser recommended it but on the Look Fantastic site it says "wear gloves when using" which put me off somewhat!! All the...
