No I haven’t because I don’t use butter. Due to dietary restrictions I use an unsalted low fat spread. It’s a shame as I do like butter but it doesn’t like me (upset tummy).

I have a few LnL pieces but I too struggle to get the lids off sometimes. I’ve split the skin round my thumbnails numerous times. I’ve learnt to put a tea towel over the when I ope them. I use more of Sistema products these days and they do the job for me.

A friend of mine has a Kenwood Chef that she git as a wedding present 60 years ago. She uses it most days. She has had it serviced and I think the motor had to be rewound. I’ve got a later model that I bought about 15 years ago and it’s still going strong. I don’t use it so much these days though
