I had both the pillow and the bed mats. At first they felt good and helped me to drop off to sleep, BUT they don't seem to be able to get rid of your heat that goes into the mat. What this means is that it's like a heat sink; it starts to radiate your own heat back to you. Maybe my menopausal...
On QVC £18.12 for a pack of two, plus £3.95 postage. (reduced from £19.50)
From maker, £9.95 plus £4.95 postage (which is a bit over the top!)
From Podington Garden Center, £9.95 plus £2.95 postage.
What is QVC thinking of?
I've just got the B&B with SPF 15. In the US ingredients, among others it includes Titanium Dioxide, which I thought was the main SPF ingredient. It's not there in the EU ingredients, so what's providing the sun screen, I wonder? I've given the ingredients below, in case any of our chemists know...
Wow, yes! I had one of those! It was so flimsy that as soon as the liquid started to firm up it broke the little plastic paddles.
My biggie over the years has been diamonique, but I've been cured of my addiction - I only bought one, yes ONE!, pair of earrings all of last year.
I'm so pleased to hear that it seems to have improved. I was there in April, and then went back again in July - both times I was so disappointed! Nothing but craft stuff and clothes - nothing else was any good whatsoever; certainly not like in the past when I ALWAYS got so many wonderful...
Hi, Jude
I really like it! Still have to put the leg out of the bed sometimes to cool down, but not as much as before. It's very light, and I think the fact that it can be put through the washing machine is good. I'm keeping it!
We always have a lot negative to say about this company's delivery times. Not this time! Ordered - was it Monday? - on Pick of the Day; arrived this morning. I'm impressed!
Thank you all for these suggestions; I'll see if I can leave something on their FB page.
Just tried, but obviously too thick to work out how to do it! I don't see how I can start a new topic, either on the front page or in the discussion page. What am I missing please?
Ordered the Tivo face exerciser thingy; arrived today and it was SO obviously used - seal broken, DVD scratched and dirty, batteries in freezer bag. Then when I phoned up to complain, they had the cheek to say they couldn't send out another one until they had checked my return. Pointed out...
I know; it used to be one of the highlights of my trips down to Liverpool (Yes, I know, sad!) I never came away without a big bag of stuff, with some VERY good buys.
What a disappointment! First time I've been there in about a year and I was shocked at what it's become!
Loads of crafting stuff at the front, with the normal electronics in the glass cases. A bit of bedding, chocolates (ok, not bad, but still rather expensive), and then the shlock! Racks and...
I actually bought the fleeces TSV for my mum. She loves fleeces, has Alzheimer's and smokes - not a good combination! She's burnt holes in all her expensive fleeces so I thought these would be fine for her. She actually seems to love them - the Wedgwood blue and the berry red combination...
It might be worth your while trying out a couple of American sites that ship to the UK.
http://www.everydayminerals.com
and
http://www.joppaminerals.com
Both of these come with a massive range of colours and finishes + they both allow you to order a free (or 1 cent) sample kit to try it out...
I tried to order the last Samsung laptop a few months ago. Again £35 delivery. After waiting and waiting and getting the same runaround from CS, I was told that Samsung couldn't find my house, so they had cancelled the order. However, if I wanted to I could reorder, at the TSV price, but not on...
