Silver?????? I am not at all sure that sixpences were silver anyway. Not in my lifetime - and I'm in my early (very) 60's!!! I do however have three genuine silver threepenny pieces that my father carried with him during WW2, but I wouldn't put them in my christmas pudding. Someone might choke. J

Hi, can I suggest you have a look and the Duvet and Pillow Warehouse online. I have bought from them several times. They do some really expensive stuff but the cheaper duvets and pillows are really good quality. Maybe you could be nice and snug for the winter!! J.:wink:

Hi Zaney, have you checked your account to see if the iron has been added to it. Be aware that they keep your payent details so they could in theory, send you another iron and charge you for without you even realising it. Something very similar happened to me a couple of years ago. Take care. J.

Oh petpixie, how I envy you. I have arthritis in my left heel, which causes a large unsightly lump on the back of my foot, and my foot swells up quite a lot. So I can't wear a normal shoe, I can only wear flip flop types. It is really annoying, I look at all these lovely sandals and summer shoes...

Couldn't agree more BusyMum. I find I switch over to watch a particular show but very soon turn off. Most of the presenters come accross as being quite patronising. I do sometimes watch with the sound off though, if it is something I am really interested in. Sounds daft, but then I do research...
