    Viewers Beauty Claims.....

Hi Donna, would you mind me asking where you source the "Exclusifs"? I fancy trying 31 Rue Cambon, sounds as if it's one I'd like, but not sure where I can sample or buy it. Is there a good perfume forum btw? I'm relatively new to the shopping forum experience! Thanks

    What a dull Beauty Day...

I'd have agreed until they all totally "corpsed" during the last show after Andrew made an unfortunate remark! http://www.qvcuk.com/ukdetail/ViewOptions.aspx?viewOption=watchvideo&item=223325&country=UK

    Viewers Beauty Claims.....

I wore Rochas Femme too, given to me by a boyfriend's Mum cos I don't think she liked it! Still have a fondness for Guerlain. Men love Shalimar - it's the vanilla apparently. I prefer Jicky though. My sis wears Y by YSL. I found her a huge bottle in TKMaxx of all places, a year or so ago. - she...

Thanks for reminding me about Masumi - I had that too. I'm sure I thought I was trendy at the time! Your Mum probably did too. Moved onto Ma Griffe after that.

    Viewers Beauty Claims.....

Ooo memories....I love talking about perfume! I used Kiku and had one of those brown bottles of Coty Wild Musk oil too. I see Kiku was launched in 1969 (gulp!) the same year as O de Lancome, which I still use to this day as a fresh spring/summer daytime scent. I'm mainly a "chypre" girl...

    Tula Handbag guest

I agree. She didn't seem to know much about the bags or, at least, how to present them and she didn't show much personality either. It was the most boring show - she repeated "absolutely" endlessly whenever Charlie made a point. I've had Tula bags in the past, I have a Tula bag now but I'm...

    Julian's faux pas !

I saw him the other morning and he mentioned his Granny (sorry can't remember the name he gave her). He said he used to mention her a lot and he was told off about it on a Forum or words to that effect. I'm guessing it was here! He was laughung about it really and didn't seem put out at all. I...

    Philosophy TSV - 27/11/10

Thanks for giving it a go guys :flower: - I know it's difficult to describe scents. At least from the clean description you agree with it doesn't sound as if they are offensive and the Amazing Grace doesn't sound too cloying. Still dithering though!

    Philosophy TSV - 27/11/10

Can someone give a shot at describing Pure Grace and Amazing Grace better than the presenters please? I've never bought Phiilosophy before and I'm a little tempted as the value and variety of products seems good and my OH has offered to pay. At least it's not all shower gel like the L'Occitane...

Where have all the Great Value TSV'S gone?

I only started on QVC because of Molton Brown and Liz Earle TSVs, but I've now discovered Cheshire Oaks is in striking distance when visiting my dau so that sorts me for MB and L'Occitane. Unless there's an exceptional offer, I buy the occasional things I need from the LE site direct with £3 P&P...

    AAAARRGGHH - Scholl show

I thought the guest was very poor. Apart from the technology, which she'd obv memorized, she didn't seem to know much about the shoes or how the straps adjusted on the boots etc. One pair of "cute" boots had long trailing ends which looked like an accident waiting to happen. JF mentioned it but...

    Tula Handbags Friday 5PM

Well I said theiy were functional bags - so not much has changed then! Having seen them on screen I won't be tempted, although their prices for leather bags put Kipling to shame.

    Tula Handbags Friday 5PM

I used to use the original large flapover style as my work organiser bag for years, as it had loads of compartments. They were great quality bags, if a bit functional, and never really wore out. I just used to replace them when they got a bit shabby. I still have a few lurking somewhere. :blush...

    5th sept kipling tsv

I had the same problem and tried for ages to release one of the zips. Eventually my OH managed to get it unstuck, as I was on the point of ringing Customer Services for a return slip. The bag is quite basic but I think I'll keep it too. I'm a fairly new Kipling customer and usually use a...

Ahhh thanks for the tip. I'll try that next time.

    Website!

Yes same for me, except sometimes it won't let me add anything for the rest of the day, even if I close the site down. I'm sure this didn't use to happen, but hadn't connected it with the website update. It's a pain in a way, but it does stop impulsive purchases as I'm far less likely to ring up...

Ahhh.....perhaps that was it. Thanks for replying Graham and for the welcome.:smile: Oh and the edit button has appeared now I've joined up to go VIP. I'm getting there slowly.

    hello i'm new

Help double post! I can't see how to edit or delete posts on the forum. When I posted first the page timed out so I didn't think the post had registered, then I posted again later without checking. Duh! :headbang: Not a great start eh?!

    hello i'm new

Thanks Tia. Well we're not quite bosom buddies, :wink3: but he's cheerful & friendly & comes early evening when someone is at home, so that seems to be an improvement on some experiences I've read on here.

    hello i'm new

Thanks for the welcome Tia. :-) Well we're not quite bosom buddies, but the guy is cheerful & friendly and delivers in the early evening so someone is usually in. All good compared to some people's experiences that I've read on here.
