    £9.99 P&P on jewellery yesterday....

RM prices are super pricey right now - on a moissanite delivered via SD with insurance will cost around £7 for the postage alone, although someone like IW will have discounting. This said, I have a friend who moves thousands of parcels a week with RM, and the discount is not that great.

    Beware of TJC on Ebay

I bought the diamante hairband - it arrived with poorly placed stones and so contacted them. No reply. Opened a case with ebay, they never responded. Refund issued automatically by ebay. Have no idea who is running the ebay Store for them, as there are many businesses who specialise in running...

    A Penny For Them

Really, QVC! Liz Earle No.1 £47.00 - Liz Earle No15 and No100 £47.01 each. Does they really cost ONE PENNY more to produce? And if they do cost 1p more, couldn't you have borne the loss of 1p? Even if you sold 3000 you would only be £30 down on your overall massive profit?:wonder: Pah!!!! dd

    Open Letter to Thorntons Chocs

I agree 100%! i dont like chocolately chocolates! I say bring back Weekend - does anybody remember Weekend box? You got a mix of chocolates, fruit jellies, fondants and a hazelnut whirl thown in! Now its all 'sludge' as brissles rightly says.

    Jackie Kennedy Collection.

I think women such as Jackie Kennedy have no illusions about the type of marriage which they are getting into. She was born into that kind of lifestyle and knew what to expect and it is still true today, that most women marrying powerful men do so with their eyes wide open. As someone once...

    Creation

Nice idea - but what if you don't like it? Under Distance Selling, you can't return an item which has been customised in any way or 'made for you' - hence the reason Apple always try to get you to 'add an engraved message' to your item! ***Well hush my mouth! :wait: I'm wrong - "You will have...

    Perricone TSV 09/10/13

I tried the Cold Plasma when it first came out; whilst it did seem to refine my skin, by week 2, my skin was so parched it felt like a mask  The cleanser has the same effect - the firming effects appear to be gotten by sucking all the hydration out of your skin! dd

    Rose de France ring

I bought a Rose de France ring too a while back and was similarly disappointed by the lacklustre colour; it does seem to be a hit and miss affair! dd

    Tiana B TSV 15/11/12

Jilly will regret wearing this. You can see every lump, bump, cellulite cell she has. Incredibly unflattering.

Returns taking ages to show on account?

QVC are fast becoming the SLOWEST at issuing refunds - even Ideal World is doing better! Case in point - returned jewellery item to IW by Special Delivery and received refund 3 DAYS later on account. Returned jewellery item Special Delivery to QVC...2 weeks later, Return FINALLY shows on...

    Stop Spoiling My Purchase Experience!

Still can't use No Callback Just an update - I am still unable to use No Callback and this time after receiving no reply from CS via the website, decided to tackle the Advisor who called back...mind you, it turned out to be a load of old tosh. When I asked why I was receiving a callback...

What a waste of time (and money)

I saw that on the back of the IW invoice that it says to call CS before returning an item over £100 to 'arrange the most suitable returns procedure". I'd ordered an item of jewellery and so knew that it would have to be returned by Special Delivery anyway, but as this was the first time I'd...

URGENT!!!! Buying at a price higher than you are prepared to pay.

The goods that tend to mega drop are usually low priced stuff anyways - you mention a wireless keyboard and mouse, 25 watercolours and Seal CD player...these can be bought on regular drops for under £30...they ain't going to let anything of any great value go for a quid. dd

    Hmm - Milkhouse Creamery Candles

I much prefer these to the Yankee Candles which - no matter what you do - always burn unevenly and leave black soot around the inside edge of the jar. Milkhouse burn evenly and don't require the kind of fussing around with that Yankee tell you to do 'for best results' which never are best...

    Fitness POTD

I remember years ago a Dennis Pennis sketch where his fitness gizmo was 'Magi-Stick' and of course it was just a wood baton that could be "stored horizontally, vertically and for the first time in fitness equipment, diagonally"...big joke...except this is exactly the same principle as that Body...

    Fitness POTD

Have you seen this yet? Is it serious? My son got the same thing recently from a craft fair for £1.50 - A bit of stronger elastic aside, I can't see the difference! On the promo film they show, one the customers says how she can 'really feel it' and that she's 'out of breath'. Out of breath...
