Me too, love the shows NY, Orange County and Bev Hills are my 3 favs, don't like the rest though, can't wait for the next series to start. Will tune in and watch, just incase Jill makes a special 'launch' visit :)
There is a thread about this on Craft Telly Forum too. I really enjoyed watching Lottie present shows, she was very respectful of the guests and I never heard her speak over anyone. IW/C&C most probably had to make cuts to be able to pay the huge salaries of the 'big' crafting names they have...
Now there is hardly any craft on I hardly even bother to watch let alone order anything. When I watched the craft shows I hung around abit more watching the odd show and dipping in and out but as they have let me down on that side I can't really be bothered and my loyalty has gone elsewhere.
There must be a lot of people out there in craft land who have wads of dosh. £369.77 for the blockbuster 'deal' of the month? I thought that we were in a recession, ohh only in London, not in Peterborough then.
Some medicines, especially steroids can puff you up a bit. Could be a side effect of her medication. I really admire Alison and all other women who remain strong when battling illness publically (or in private). x
Well Flaykynn:wave: someone must be buying this stuff as it keeps selling out, it isn't me. I do believe 'My paper stash' is her company's product so would imagine there is much more of the same to follow.
Unfortunately it will be the likes of you and me who will miss out. Competition is good for the market but C&C don't do it for me I'm afraid. I only really enjoy Sue Wilson and Barbara Grey's hours.
I hate the sell sell sell, also if you don't like the POTW you are stuck with it for...
Well yesterday I caught a couple of the shows with Steph and Nancy. I thought they giggled about nothing much and it was a bit annoying. The pick of the week wasn't my cup of tea, far to basic just glue and stick.
Stephanie started off a bit demour and a bit coy as if to say 'I wonder how I'll...
So QVC doesn't provide crafters with ideas and inspiration, and won't allow craft experts to educate viewers?
(sorry I couldn't add quote so had to copy and paste)
I think thats a bit mean. QVC offers plenty of ideas and inspiration, when the shows are on.
Just saw on Create & Craft website - Stephanie is back already. Picture on the presenters page and everything.
Quick work or what, talk about not waiting for the dust to settle. Wishing her well.
I've just remembered I heard somewhere that you can clean acrylic stamps with staz-on cleaner but you have to wash them quickly after, again not sure about this and haven't tried it myself.
SueG - agree, acrylic stamps are quite cheap to replace nowadays.
I think if you are using any water based colouring in technique like using your aquamarkers then you will need to use an ink like staz-on for stamping with first. I have used staz-on on my acrylic stamps and don't bother to wash them afterwards I just leave the ink to dry. It doesn't bother me...
