I taped Smashbox hour at about 4am this morning and watched ten minutes of it while munching my branflakes. The first ten minutes isn't Smashbox at all. It's a brunette lady doing a mixed brand make up demo and it was rather good. I didn't catch the primer and foundation that she used, but...

I guess they're trying to sell the mammoth QVC behemoth brands to the newbies. Those of us who have been around for a decade or more will probably already have had a Gatineau phase and an Elemis phase, and be looking for something new and exciting. Neither brand "speaks" to me any more...

I'm not sure whether to blame New cid or Mally for Ally Young's hard black eyeliner, but I do prefer her in softer shades with a softer application. Purple really suits her I think. But anyway.... I don't really fancy this one from LG. Weren't recentish Smashbox and Mally TSVs purple too? I...

That is so annoying! I hope you have insisted they refund all the postage because it was faulty. It's just boring if they have the same old same old on all the time isn't it? I expect they're trying to catch the new viwers who perhaps haven't got into the habit of checking reviews online...

I thought that today, especially with today's Centigrade TSV looking so similar to one they had this time last year. Perhaps this is why I haven't bought much from QVC lately. I've seen it (and probably bought it! :blush:) all before! :giggle:

I like Clinique Cream Shapers for eyes, but I've never really got heavily into their skincare. I prefer to keep it simple. In the past I've had bad skin reactions to both Clinique and Elemis skincare products. We have girly swap nights every six weeks or so, and Clinique skincare is always on...

How could I forget Harald! I agree, some presenters seemed as if they weren't sure how to handle Harald, whereas JF just seemed to be having a ball! :clapping::rock::sun:

I really enjoyed the shows JF did with John Barrowman, I saw a few minutes of her recent show with Liz Earle and was also surprised that i started enjoying it! :giggle: I also like it when she does make up shows too. I enjoy the hours she does with Paul from Bobbi Brown and with Daniel Sandler...

She's one of my favourites as well. I like quirky types. :sun:

Maybe I did. :sun: I was gutted about it when it happened. I've never felt that way about any product before or since. I simply couldn't bear it on my skin another second. (41, oily, menopause definitely on the horizon!) I'm glad it works for you though :happy: (and a bit envious! :blush::grin:)
