The Avalanche watches again - I'm sure they used to do them for less then £18 in the past. An eye-watering £60 if you buy them on the site ! What happened to the £6million investment? (Surely they haven't spent it all on Tefal fryers?) Where's the new stock?

Mason just called Sally "Fag Ash Lil" on air. She does not look happy at the remark. This channel will never go upmarket as long as this repulsive individual is around...

I remember when Greg Scott wore his gold suit to present live on Christmas Day evening ... and he was proud to do it ! Compare this to the clowning around on Christmas Day a couple of years ago when it looked like the tea-boys were left in charge... Also recall when Greg soldiered on on the...

I can't speak for Steve but you'd have to think that when he was bunking off school so he could work the dodgems on the fairs the thought of one day selling packs of batteries and cheap watches live on a shopping channel must have seemed like pure fantasy. He's living the dream. I like him.

Mason selling Boom tonight..."It's only £7 per pot including delivery...now how much do you pay for your kitchen cleaner, how much do you pay for your bathroom cleaner, how much do you pay for your oven cleaner? Boom can replace all these" I'll tell you Mike. I go to Home Bargains or B & M's...

Peter selling the One Day Special (the food processor) during James Russell's shift tonight. Not sure if it was live or a pre-record, but he sort of painted himself into a corner. "Not only of the Russell and of the Hobbs (I can't quite believe he actually said that !) ...not only for use in...

1 sold at £21. are they calling up themselves now to try and make it look exciting and in demand? Makes you wonder if they are 'helping things along a little' behind the scenes. The viewing figures must be wretched if they can't even shift tiny quantities like this.

They should knock up some cheap animation of the buyers entering the "lounge", then being herded out by a couple of beefy bouncers when they don't get anywhere with their bids. Then a loud alarm could play with the words "ACCESS DENIED" flashing on the screen.:mysmilie_59:

There may be some excitement in the "jeopardy" element, but the problem is that in these belt-tightening times no one wants to to pay over the odds and there's a risk of that happening in this format. I have been a seller on eBay for 10 years and auctions have really declined in popularity over...

Dirty Peter's old catchphrase (and my username) seem very appropriate now for this new incarnation of Price Drop. The format reminds me of the 'price roulette' gimmick used on the short-lived successor to Auction World (can't remember the name). I remember poor Nigel (formerly of Avago Bingo and...
