    Really?

I remember we had computers in the mid 80s - in fact, our typist resigned because she couldn't face the transition from her electronic typewriter to using a word processor.

    Lola Rose TSV 10/12/15

LR has recently lost me as a customer - I always used to like them for the fact that their pieces were simply stones with no added 'bling' - the shape, quality and grain of the stones was the main attraction. Now the brand is using 'fillers' to bulk out the look - charging the same but...

    Turbie Twist Shower Caps

QVC is a retailer - it will sell popular things. Is John Lewis copying House of Fraser if it sells a similar product? How about all the retailers selling, say, spiralisers (the latest cooking trend). Are they all copycats or are they just retailers giving the customer what they want?

    Turbie Twist Shower Caps

I've got some cotton TTs and they are as thick and fluffy as when I bought them - even after frequent washing and using them everyday. I've seen several lookey likeys in the discount stores but none have come close to the finish and fabric quality of the TT branded ones.

    Turbie Twist Shower Caps

Shower caps don't mess your hair up as much as a turban. Also, the shower cap is waterproof whereas the turbie will let water through if it gets wet enough.

    Wearable Christmas motifs

My Pandora Christmas bracelet -with its bits bought over a number of years and received as presents - has probably cost around £400 to put together ... I wear it for the whole of December and will for many years to come so I think that's good value in the longer run. Looking at the...

    Wearable Christmas motifs

Just me then - in my lovely jumper with antlers on my head? I've got several crimbo jumpers, a shirt with little puddings on it, t-shirts for bed time and a christmas Pandora bracelet with a full set of charms including red and green murano glass spacers (and an Ohm jingle bell charm as a...

Strato - which Pure model have you got! I'm in the market for a DAB/FM portable and the button memory seems a good feature.

    Awkward Lola Rose

Do you actually like women at all Julius? You seem to take pleasure in trying to put them down whenever you have the opportunity - particularly by commenting on age - even when it's absolutely not relevant. This woman has taken her idea and turned it into a multi-million pound business - she...

Thank You for your continued support

Interesting reading on how to identify 'narcissistic' behaviour: https://www.bpdcentral.com/narcissistic-disorder/hallmarks-of-npd/ 'I have always believed I was destined to do or be something great. Known, loved, or admired by all--not that I took any steps to ensure that I actually did...

Thank You for your continued support

OK - let's be logical about this. 'Correct authorities'??? Who can she possibly mean? Unless a comment is made which is threatening or discriminatory - and there are clear guidelines on relevant 'protected characteristics' - then no-one in 'authority will be interested. The 'authorities'...

DBF book now in WH Smith

Wow, showing your tender age now... I'm crusty enough to be from the 'Janet and John' era: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0088RJET0/?tag=shoppingcom03-21 Ah, those were the days. I still remember some of the lines: 'Look John, Look See the dog' Now that would give DF a run for her money!

    Will she be in trouble

I always clean earrings before I put them in and when I take them out - I just use an alcohol wipe. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009UG8872/?tag=shoppingcom03-21 They are also good for wiping any scratches etc and I always carry a few in my handbag. As to receiving previous customer returns, I...

Why do we all go so mad for TSV's?

I bought the last Liz Earle TSV and I'm very happy with the value of it. I don't mind whether it then goes on sale at a fiver more... I make my decision based on the price on the night and whether I think it's good value. I don't decide to buy because it's a TSV or OTO or whatever... I choose...

    Ninja is leaking

I recommend these brushes for washing up - they are great for getting under the blades as you can bend them into shape. The smaller one is also great for cleaning in the hole of my bread maker paddle: http://www.lakeland.co.uk/21626/Lakeland-Home-Spout-Brushes

She's gone for gold not silver though which is going against the current white metal trend and it's not too gaudy.

    QVC changes

DF's use (exploitation) of the Bodyblade is genius - she's promoting a QVC product so the bosses will be happy, she includes the brand ambassador by inviting him to her events so the seller is happy and she links it into her 'Fat Lady' books and her various lifestyle blogs too. Plus, she gets...

Ooh - I like the moonstone ring BUT wonder what the quality of the plating is like... I don't like plating yellow gold onto silver or white base metal as it can ruin easily if the plating doesn't wear well.
