It's nice to see Andy H is happy elsewhere (and he took along a few of the old Bid.tv gardening experts too!) http://www.homegardenplus.com/

BID TV Can't pay creditors/staff/freelancers and suppliers

I wonder if they'll have James Russell at the creditors meeting with his powers of persuasion to influence their decision?

BID TV Can't pay creditors/staff/freelancers and suppliers

Indeed they shall. With the amount owed and the pittance they are offering to 'pay-off' the debt I can't see the creditors agreeing unless they seriously think there is a future (would love to be a fly on the wall at the creditor meeting). If it was for a 'small' amount of debt - say up to £5m...

BID TV Can't pay creditors/staff/freelancers and suppliers

I'm still gob-smacked and in a state of disbelief they allowed themselves to go into debt by so much (hence my earlier posts if this thread was a wind up) £68m is a serious amount of money. "It is understood that a significant amount of money owed is for contractual breaches that were made as...

Bidtv relaunch: the do's and don't

do: close the channel down and stop transmitting; send all current presenters to China. don't: reprise Sit-up Ltd

Is it me or are sales extremely slow? How many solar powered wind chimes does one need to sell? (taken Rye's five minutes to sell four!)

What do you expect to see 10/03/14 at 10 p.m.?

Lola in a thong performing a cabaret act with Peter Simon rubbing his magic lamp? :mysmilie_47:

I guess that even if the creditors accept their offer the credit rating for the company will be non-existent! They're in for a rough time unless they sell products allocated to them and are shipped from the supplier direct?

fully agree. I see Sit-up as like the containment bin such as that for containing all the ghouls/ghosts from the film 'Ghostbusters'. Should Sit-up (containment bin) be turned off the ghouls/ghosts will escape into the wild (Gaspin, Simon, Heppington, Russell, Jaxx, Gob, Brash, Mason (in...

What do you expect to see 10/03/14 at 10 p.m.?

if anything the whole thing is about to get worse... much worse. They've culled some presenters (Guy, Debbie) for a start, they've kept hold of the presenters who have been responsible for the majority of ASA complaints, ditched a few of the assistants.. I thought Mr. Green had appointed a...

BID TV Can't pay creditors/staff/freelancers and suppliers

there are three people who can save Bid-tv. Paul Lavers (replacement for Schlock, Simon, Russell, Davies, Mason et al) Grotbags (replacement for Jaxx, Lyndsey and Brash) Sweep (makes more sense)

BID TV Can't pay creditors/staff/freelancers and suppliers

Dear Mr. Green, Please stop wasting your time (and money) The problem with these channels are certain presenters who need restructuring in the form of a P45. Then I would dig out those VHS tapes from 2002 and see why Bid.tv was as successful as it was back then. Yours sincerely, Paul_s

Something just doesn't add up (by all means if Bidmole can produce the document then fair enough). I mean their finances haven't been filed for a few years now, but even in 2011 things weren't too bad... http://companycheck.co.uk/company/03877786/SIT-UP-LIMITED/financial-accounts Perhaps...
