there's a course where I work... that course is titled 'Safe Swallowing'. Perhaps I should enrol Mr. Mason onto it.

Watched PS for the first time last night on Gems. The only thing missing was the Bid.tv introduction. I think over time he'll become a liability and cause no end of problems. I don't think the Gems viewers will take much of the B$. :mysmilie_17:

I prefer the version in Deutsch! Less B$ as well :mysmilie_12: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ5EPPAsBbk

Mike Mason joins Ideal World TV

If there was a BAFTA for unprofessional TV personality of the century Mike would surely be in the running for it.

It's not like his monologues were not public - whoever hired (or was paid) Peter Simon at Gems is clearly insane or just plain daft! I will go for both! :mysmilie_17:

Mike Mason joins Ideal World TV

I did find some of the comments on here originally a little border line until Graham removed them but I think we need to try and understand why some people feel this way. There was nothing criminal or threatening though in what was said - it did get a little personal but people are entitled to...

word on the grapevine is that there will be a sallyjacks boutique opening inside Harrods next door to Shylock Perfumes Inc. :mysmilie_12:

    Who next?

Seriously, whoever is doing the hiring have absolutely not a clue - perhaps people who work in the shopping telly industry don't actually watch the output from other channels? The whole thing is frightening.

Let's hope the production crew don't get annoyed with PS and shout expletives down his ear piece. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2536411/TV-presenter-sacked-swearing-studio-colleagues-live-air-called-f-big-whore-earpiece.html

    Who next?

I reckon Gems TV will go into voluntary liquidation by 2016 and have 478 ASA complaints against them. The Outlet Channel will be bank rolled until 2018 when Lisa suggests to the production team that they should offload some Kinkade portraits. Ideal World will float on the stock exchange next...

I didn't watch it but dear god who are the casting agents giving ex-Sit-Up employees air time again? If they want a resume just look on Youtube!

Congratulations Mike Mason on Ideal World Job

well this will be interesting!! :giggle:

showing her true colours, horrible woman. Looks like she's uploaded another video on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR10hz_VQ3M give it up Sally, go and stack shelves at Asda.

    Brash TV

She's living in cloud cuckoo land. From watching her past sales of Pricedrop and hearing her say; "How many on the phone lines?" "None?!, oh" Money doesn't grow on trees, or maybe it does? :mysmilie_59:

I remember seeing that for sale a couple of months back (it was before 'Shop at Bid' started - so on the old format). It was led by the guy in the promo video you posted.

It's Christmas Day 2013 and your other half buys you a special present....

There's only one answer. I would sell Mike Mason to the NASA space program for £100 million so that he can personally go to the moon with a memory foam bed. No doubt the Goddess would approve as his television profile would go sky high... Little does she know that this is a one way trip for...

Are you having Bid/Pricedrop withdrawal symptoms?

nope, not really. The watchability factor for me died a while ago, so quite used to it now. I miss the assistants more than the presenters though :mysmilie_59:
