Amazed that the ecoegg is back on air

It'll probably be a hot pick next, the ultimate way to shift dodgy products! I totally agree it is very annoying. I once got some shoes from QVC that had an obvious fault (hot pick!) and when I looked up the reviews there were loads of 1 or 2 stars all complaining about the same thing, but...

Amazed that the ecoegg is back on air

I don't like the way they say that you don't use fabric conditioner with their system because you can use the dryer eggs to soften instead, because not everyone has a tumble dryer and even if you do you wouldn't put everything in there because it would be too expensive and some stuff can't go in.

Internet retailers are kicking the QVC fashion sale well into the shade!

Absolutely agree, especially since with clothes you don't need use it for ages to decide. Ok, it can be good to see how things wash, but basically all you want to do is try it on. So the 30 day mbg isn't much of an advantage to QVC fashion, on the other hand the need to try on and compare...

So what's the plan for New Year's Eve?

I'll be staying in with my partner but he usually has to be up at six and doesn't do after midnight so I think as soon as we've heard the chimes he'll be off.

CH - here we go again........

I don't feel resentful towards people having children, I feel grateful because our population is ageing and unbalanced, we need more young people of working age to contribute towards the increasing number of retired people as many live longer. However, I do feel angry when I hear about people...

CH - here we go again........

I might be completely wrong but I thought it was a legal obligation to give refunds, even on sales goods. I have never been refused a refund except for one time I forgot to return something and took it back after about 4 months, then I got a credit note which is probably more than QVC would...

    The dreaded high street

The thing about QVC and the cost of parking is that you don't pay parking again every time you buy another item.

    The dreaded high street

I really like popping into to actual shops when I can, especially little one off ones local to me. I would hate to think they wouldn't be there and a few have closed. So I made a real point this year of getting everything I could there before looking further afield. Seems funny to think we...

    Caramel's baby's name

Luna is getting quite popular after Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter.

    Caramel's baby's name

My mum swears she once saw an announcement in the paper of the birth of Vomita. I hope it was printed for a joke!

    Liz Earle EDP No15

I thought I'd love the first one when it came out because I love the scent of LE products, but for some reason I didn't like it when I sprayed some in a dept store. I am not tempted by the number 15 because it contains pepper and a perfume I tried before with pepper in made me feel flushed (I...

    Liz Earle promo

In the latest brochure thingy direct from Liz Earle there is a letter/column by her so they're still using her there too to promote the idea she is still central to it all. If you didn't know what had gone on, you wouldn't guess from QVC or the LE company stuff. Bit sneaky really.

    CarolHochman - gift or self-gift

Haven't seen any of today's products yet, but I really like CH!

    Did QVC forget its Christmas??

I got a pack of chocolate coins for £1 (still quite a bit for what it is!) today - that's a real stocking filler, not something very expensive but small in size.

I hope Emma Hardie isn't going to...

Sorry to hear about that Red  Hopefully it just needs some time to recover and settle down again. Maybe your doctor can give you some more advice or a mild steroid/antibiotic cream mix if she/he thinks it is appropriate. I had some Fucibet years ago which is like that and it really...

    Mally Beauty TSV - 16/12/12

Trying not to put this on right before going to bed, Mally is not relaxing! I like alot of her stuff but am not planning to get anything today - I can't afford it for one thing. Also, I don't feel like I need any more of her things at the moment and I'm going through a phase of trying to find...

I hope Emma Hardie isn't going to...

I know what you mean, but having said that I used to work on one of those counters and I didn't actually use any of their skincare. I did wear the make up as you're kind of forced (literally) to apply it by the bucketload. I think a lot of the counter staff are using other stuff or are...
