My second Amazon Echo 8 smart arrived today. I got a bargain price of £60, it has now gone up to £119. There is now one in the kitchen and one in the living room. I can even add items to my shopping list from the app on my phone if I’m out.

I have one. It sat around for quite a while. I now cook frozen roasted potatoes/chips in it. I also cut up celeriac or swede into chip shapes, microwave them for 2 mins. Give them a coating of olive oil, salt and pepper and cook them for 20 mins. Mine is a small one too.

I’ve stopped dying my hair and have had it all cut off short so that even if the hairdressers are closed my hair looks ok. No need for conditioner or steam pod now. I don’t even brush my hair now. No idea where my hairbrush is.

Today I bought (a 2nd Echo 8 show). Managed to find it on AO.com for £60 including postage as they seem to have shot up in price. Yesterday I bought a grey cashmere roll neck jumper from John Lewis. I’m pleased I bought it with just 20% off as it has now sold out in my size.

I lived in a cold house and wore a winter coat indoors plus fingerless gloves. I now live in a warm flat that requires virtually no heating but the maintenance charge is £150 a month.

I’ve bought a Lulu set and liked the cleaning lotion, the cocktail stuff. The face cream was very thin. I’m currently using the eye cream as face cream as I don’t use eye cream. It is well past its use date but smells ok.

I’ve been on the Buckley jewellery site and bought 2 trio sets of bracelets for £12.50 then £3.99 for postage. I like to wear bright coloured bracelets in the summer. I’m parting with my grandmother’s antique engagement and a lovely princess di engagement to my nieces. I never wear them.
