    Stylish dresses

Given that quite often I rather like things that are slagged off on here I went to have a look on their website cos there might be something that I thought was ok. But no, you are right. In fact I think hideous is a bit of an understatement!!

Carole Hochman - would you recommend?

I have some PJs (a set of top, cardi, shorts and crops) that I bought somewhere round 2003/4 that are still going strong. I only wear them in milder weather but even so I think that is pretty good going! (Shhh - I would be tempted to try the auction site first!)

Do you remember which presenter sold you something?

I don't remember who the presenter was but my first purchase was a Kirk's Folly Kitty Cat Keychain - January 96. I had been watching since they launched but that was the first time (of many!) that I succumbed.:call::call::call:

What IW products will you be wearing for the royal wedding?

I shall be wearing be wearing my Emelia slinky dress and matching jacket - if it's good enough for a cruise or the races then I think it will be perfect for Will's do. Underneath I will wear my La Dea body, Emelia camisole and 21st Century bustier - one can't be too careful and I suspect a Janet...

    Jerome Alexander

The Italian Marble powder is the only 'foundation' I get on with. Can't bear liquids and other powders look to powdery(?!). His doesn't look or feel as though I am wearing makeup but the overall effect is excellent - even complexion, redness gone etc. I know a lot of people don't like it but for...

Does this happen to you re feather beds?

You can buy straps to hold fitted sheets in place - they have a clip on each end and are wide elastic. I'm not sure where to get them from but I bought something similar (from Kleeneze or Betterware or some such) that was designed for ironing board covers but I used them on my sheet and they...

    Soapy face ???

Allergic to soap so I use Tesco face wipes  Once a week (ie when I can be ar$ed) I do a proper cleanse and moisturise. Been doing it for years and I reckon I have pretty good skin for my age even if I do say so myself. Sometimes I even go to bed without removing my makeup so...

    Largest Quantity Auction!!

Don't think so thanks. The pink amethysts don't look very pink to me - p'raps my eyes are just getting old! There are far too many large quantity 'auctions' now - most of the ones I have caught recently have been. It used to be that they only seemed to make maybe 20 or so at most and...

Worst Mother's Day Gift Idea Suggestion?

I would love a Kitchen Aid (though would prefer a Kenwood), wouldn't mind a steam generator iron or almost any other gadget (showroom shine would be fine too cos it makes my car shiny) - I really would be happy with anything like that. He'd never buy me a vacuum cleaner cos he does that not...

What are you wearing NOW from QVC ?

Absolutely nothing!! I suppose mostly what I buy from them now is craft stuff. Have bought loads in the past, clothes, jewellery, make up etc, but none of it made it's way onto my person today - sorry!!

    Kim & Co

I'm with you Artemis - I have no problem admitting to loving Kim's stuff! I might have a problem admitting how many items I have though, especially if OH is around!! :mysmilie_505: I have never found them to cling or show off lumps and bumps and I reckon they are much better quality than...

100 Things I Have learned from QVC..

'Stocking filler' does not mean a bag of chocolate coins and a couple of silly little toys - it must cost at least £35 and come in a fairly large box.

    amethyst and cayenne

Actually, I quite like it!! Reminds me of the Red Hat Society!

    Good luck Loen

Good luck to anyone trying to quit!! I will be 12 months nicotine free in April after a couple of failed attempts - my salvation was Champix tablets, they made it a doddle where patches had failed. Everyone is different and the key is to find the method that works for you. It may take a while...

What was the last TSV you bought?

The five little LED torches before Christmas for stocking fillers. Very bright!! Edit: Ooh no I lied - I bought the 'It Works' little scrubby pads - I think they were a TSV
