    Gatineau Christmas TSV 1/12/13

However, this review is from someone who clearly has not purchased the TSV. Personally, I do think that reviews should only come from people who have ordered, received and used the item, there are other avenues such as social media to comment on disappointment if you've decided not to buy.

    QVC Returns The Hidden Service

Several other things to note that may help. With the Elems TSVs, it would have almost certainly been cheaper with Royal Mail to have returned them as 2 seperate parcels (being 2 Small Parcels rather than 1 medium parcel). Always, always measure your parces before going to the Post Office and...

Xmas Shopping: Qvc Vs The Highstreet

I also shop through out the year, and already have most of my Christmas gifts. Nowadays, I do most my shopping online, although I may check things out in the shops first of all, as I prefer the extra protection and extra discounts/cashback that you get shopping online. I bought 2 Elemis TSVs...

    A tad peed off !

I recommend emailing the CEO. Of course, he never actually sees your email, but has a dedicated "elite" customer service dept who appear to be able to cut through the cr*p and resolve your issue. Be clear about what you want as the resolution, generally if you are not being unreasonable, they...

    Elemis Christmas TSV 17/11/13

What a nightmare for you, and how scary.

    Elemis Christmas TSV 17/11/13

It's more than likely that some of the stock is from orders that failed to complete when QVC went to charge the payment. QVC don't charge your card on order, only on dispatch. If they sold 100k and they only had a payment declined % of 0.5%, then that's still 500 units of stock now available.

    Mally TSV 24/11/13

Autumn, I think that is the understatement of the year, I would have thought any beauty TSV being given a weekend slot in the golden 4 weeks for online Christams shopping, would be expected to sell close to 50k units, if not more. I think the biggest mistake here is the overlap with the...

    Mally TSV 24/11/13

I agree, I think that there is a 100% replication if you look at both palettes, and I guess the difference on whether it's of interest or not, is whether you bought it or not last time. I didn't go for it last time, as I liked some colours but not all in both options. If I had bought the last...

    Mally TSV 24/11/13

After almost a week of should I, shouldn't I, I have gone for it. I have to say that Weathergirl's comment on this being just shy of £50 hit a nerve, and I definitely won't be spending £50 on myself this close to Christmas, but I will not keep all this kit for myself. Even factoring in P&P...

I'm not sure they're your colours anyway, Ian

I'm not interested in this at all. I am still interested in the baked shadow mega set, if it's not too expensive.

Mine too, and I ordered mine quite early in the day.

    Thorntons TSV 20/11/13

Tesco have a boxes of Continental Thornton's on offer 460g for £10 or 300g for £5 and their mint selection 316g half price at £4. I've got two Tesco money off coupons and I buy these as gifts for colleagues, so am intending to stock up.

    Thorntons TSV 20/11/13

I worked in Brussels for 6 months in my early 20s, back in those days I was a size 4-6 and could eat what I liked with impunity, so spent 6 months consuming steak or mussels and frites, followed by handmade choccies, so very delicious! I like proper chocolate shops where you can pick your own...

    Gatineau Beauty Passport

Final update, arrived back home from work today to find my throat gel had been delivered, so if you've been holding onto your BP like me, now's the time to redeem. I would also say a massive thank you to my craft friends Spendloads and Judith for their generosity and kindness, the world would...

    Mally TSV 24/11/13

Yes, it is all to easy to forget that US prices are stated before the addition of their sales tax, whilst ours are always after VAT. Still, wouldn't it be lovely to be wrong and for this to be a £40 TSV. Can anyone remember what last year's Christmas TSV cost, I've noticed that the Christmas...

    Mally TSV 24/11/13

Whilst they are two different companies, they're not seperate, one's the parent, the other a wholly owned subsidiary. I also believe that like many multi-national companies, they follow a group sourcing strategy with suppliers common between group companies. This TSV will have been...

    Mally TSV 24/11/13

So, add 20% VAT for a start, and we're already at £43.92, then there's the 15% QAT rate (like VAT, but levied by QVC Inc instead of HMRC) and that brings us to £50!

    Elemis Christmas TSV 17/11/13

So, they have sold more than last year in the day (78k last yr) which goes to prove that keeping it under £40 makes a difference. Hope they've learnt their lesson for the future and not just Elemis.

    Elemis Christmas TSV 17/11/13

Thinking about the old Molton Brown TSV has reminded me, I always prefer a nice gift box over a cheap bag. I actually don't even consider the so-called toiletry bags and they go straight into the bin when they arrive. Dreadful waste, including these horrid plastic monstrosities.
