    So beautiful!

Yes, I know Rocks & Co are on the pricey side; yes, I know their sapphires (in common with almost everyone else's) are treated. But WHERE else in the World would you find anything remotely like this?

    Boobies

It was not TOO bad - strapless, but not very low cut and not tight. What puzzles me, though, is why the female presenters can't wear NORMAL elegant/smart clothes, and have to look like they're dressed up for a night out. (Take a look at Vicky Gordon on Rocks & Co right now; that's the standard...

    Jewels of Valais

Oooo, nice - LAVENDER QUARTZ with marcasite! http://gems.tv/Products/Search.aspx#Product=QMPS51 Not the most exciting design, it has to be admitted, but great to see this wonderful gemstone on Gems TV, and set in marcasite, too! This is also lovely (and I've already received this one, so I...

    Vicky's Back

I really like the 'Queen of Sparkle' as a presenter - great to see her back.

    Has Jerrilee left?

Aside from Klos' bizarre medical procedures(!), I haven't seen Jerilee for a while on Rocks & Co so I suppose she must have gone. Pity; I agree with others' comments that she really improved her style (and stopped pretending to be the airhead which she isn't), and morphed into an entertaining...

    Rough diamonds ???

Ewww, no, don't like 'em - mind you you know I've got no taste, Meesh, as I don't like alexandrite either!

    Who is that bloke presenting?

According to the graphics it's Steve Bennett, but it definitely doesn't look like him!

    Boobies

That reminds me of a story I heard years ago from someone who was working as a care assistant for elderly people, some of whom had a degree of dementia. She was giving one old gentleman a bed-bath, and assured him that she would be careful of his "dangly bits". "How dare you speak to me like...

    Jewels of Valais

Oh, and some earrings would be nice, but I haven't seen any (except plain marcasite ones with no central gemstone).

    Jewels of Valais

I've bought that pendant too, Argey, plus the ametrine one (octagon cut with marcasites all round the edge in case you didn't see it). Not too keen on the rings they've had with marcasites on the shank but none surrounding the gemstone - almost defies the point!

    Jewels of Valais

Nice to see some unusual gemstones set in marcasite - I don't think I've EVER seen ametrine with marcasite, for example. The settings on the whole seem rather dull and plain, though. Some of us marcasite lovers are after a more ornate look!

    Boobies

Yes, I agree, too. How about a 'no visible cleavage' rule - then there would be no doubt as to what was appropriate and what wasn't? Of course models have to have an exposed decolletage to show off pendants and necklaces, but that doesn't need to be incompatible with modesty and elegance!

    Ethiopian Opals

Oooo, glad you got your Welo opals in the end, Jacqualina! I would really like a(nother) pair of earrings with good clarity and plenty of diamonds, so fingers crossed Gems TV will have some like that.

    Ethiopian Opals

I bet if you ordered three in order to choose one and send back the others, you'd get one which didn't have this problem...
  17. MissMagpie

    Help me choose!

From the photos it looks as though the grey is more of a 'flat' grey without the rainbow colours, so if that impression is accurate I would definitely be sending those back.

    Is Jelly Opal really nice?

    Thanks - lovely!

    problems checking out

I have had problems checking out in Internet Explorer, but not when using another browser. If you're using IE, you might want to try something else such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome instead.

    Is Jelly Opal really nice?

Ooooo, AAA jelly opal sounds lovely! Did anybody get any of the item codes so I can have a butcher's? Was it a special hour, or just a few pieces now and then? I wish Gems would advertise their themed hours better, on their website or on Facebook. Thanks for letting us know about the Ethiopian...
