    The Pet Photo Thread!

Agreed, veterinary bills give you a whole new perspective on the NHS! I will say though, it's a darn sight easier to get an appointment with the vet. Ours was brilliant, I rang very early to make an appointment, and the vet answered the phone himself. He asked a few pertinent questions about...

    Rainbow Bridge

So very sorry Akimbo. There's no comfort at such a time as this, but she did have a lovely life with you, and you did the right thing at the end when she needed you most. Hugs to you and yours xx

    The Pet Photo Thread!

Aww, thanks ladies! TC ended up spending 5 days in the hospital, but lives to fight another day! He came home on a 'special diet', which, of course, he refused point blank to touch! It took him a while to settle back down, but I'm pleased to say he's back to his old self. He's so feisty, they...

    Kitchen aid from Lakeland

I had some vouchers to spend and treated myself to a Kitchen Aid hand mixer last year, and I must say it is fabulous! Very pleased with it. If I didn't already have a Kenwood Chef, I would definitley consider the Artisan, but I certainly wouldn't buy it from QVC!

    Nail Lacquer or nail vanish

Polish, Lacquer, Varnish, they all mean the same. It's just like saying 'Faux' instead of artificial or fake; it's meant to sound like it's something 'a cut above'. Makes me laugh! :mysmilie_19:

    Peony Flowers TSV 05/11/18

Thanks for the recommendations for Bloom, I had a look at their website, and if you register for their emails they give you 15% off your first order. Have ordered myself a little Christmassy arrangement in a nice Portmeirion jug!

If anyone is in need of a new duvet ...

I would like to recommend the Fogarty factory shop, which is based in Boston, Lincs. I was introduced to this shop 30+ years ago, by a friend who hailed from Boston, and over the years I have bought from them many times. On Friday evening I purchased online an 'all seasons' (10.0 + 3.5 togs)...

    Lola Rose TSV 26/10/18

Like the Moroccan mix, but it's too much money, and I wouldn't wear the bracelet. More money saved!

    Vionic Footwear TSV 25/10/18

I really do rate Vionics, they are very comfy for me, as long as I get the right size (I need to size up). I love these boots, but they are about £30 overpriced IMO and I'm not buying them.

    Computer security for iMac

I'm certainly not saying it's impossible, apple devices can be hacked and can also be infected by viruses, but not by the same viruses that affect other systems, and they are much less likely to be hacked or infected. I strongly suspect the problem with Amazon is with insiders, it happens a...

    Computer security for iMac

My understanding is that apple products are inherently more secure and don't need additional software. It's more likely that your Amazon account has been tampered with by someone inside Amazon, so I hope you have reported it and asked them to investigate? I believe this sort of thing is sadly...

Nina Leonard Fashion Designs TSV 15/10/18

    How bored are we?

Prompted by this thread, I had a quick look at my account. The last thing I bought was the Peony TSV with the big vase & orchids, and before that was an ABC body wash kit, 6 months ago. (However, in terms of body wash I've recently found the ABC is too drying on my old lady skin, and I'm now...

    How bored are we?

I haven't watched in years. Hardly recognise any of the presenters mentioned on here these days. Occasionally look at the website and order online if I want anything, but I can't even remember the last time I bought from Q.

    Peony Flowers TSV 11/09/18

The fine art of marketing! :mysmilie_19: In fact, most things, high end or not, are made in China or India, for a penny a dozen. (We have no manufacturing industry left here, that's for sure). Then it's all nicely packaged and sold for mega bucks, 'Fo' flahs, inspired by the gardens of the...

Oooh, and by the way, the motorised pet tool is brilliant for doing the stairs!

    Shay & Blue TSV 18/10/18

I bought the 1st TSV and ordered several samples from the S&B website. I hated them all, and gave the TSV away too. Not the brand for me, this one. I will say it was very nicely packaged, I was actually very disappointed not to like it!

Household Helpers with Shark TSV 22/09/18

The TSV is the same model I have, and it is a good buy as although it is the same price on the Shark website, you get the multi angle dust brush and the extended reach kit, which I didn't get when I bought mine direct from Shark.
