I just looked up the list of presenters to find out what her name really was!!I’ve been crafting since I was 4 years old and I’m now 74. Used to watch Create and Craft all the time until its demise last year. I watch the live new Craft Store on YouTube as well as Highlight Crafts. I do occasionally watch Hobbymaker but only like a couple of the presenters (Nigel and Hayley). Had to turn off this afternoon as the presenter, Germolene Lavatory, hardly paused for breath and was doing my head in.
Was surprised to see Stamps by Me going to IW though.
He could try the moss and lichen remover, I'm sure that would work.Wonder if it’d remove the birds nest in his moosh?
No, you were fine, it was a joke, a play on words. Mistake Miss Steak. Misspelling, Miss Spelling. You know me with spellings
I'm out!
Haven't heard 'moosh' for ages.Wonder if it’d remove the birds nest in his moosh?
We are all old that’s why LOLHaven't heard 'moosh' for ages.
Along with 'fizzog' we had the other week.
Thanks for that.
May I add 'cake hole', as in 'shut your cake hole' (comment not aimed at you obviouslyHaven't heard 'moosh' for ages.

Ohhhh, 'cake'. It could have been worse...May I add 'cake hole', as in 'shut your cake hole' (comment not aimed at you obviously). I think Tony Hancock used to use that one.
Oh, that Lavery woman! It's her constant nervous laugh that really sets me on edge. Did you see her with Carla Bagshaw yesterday? You couldn't get two more opposite people really - I like Carla, but I just wanted to tell Cheralene to shut up.I’ve been crafting since I was 4 years old and I’m now 74. It’s very good. Although it’s on the craft store the orders are placed with and despatched by the craft companies so all the sales and profits go to them. They can either use the old Hochanda/Create and Craft Studio or broadcast direct from home. They just pay The Craft Store for airtime or studio & presenter. There’s a whole range of companies including some that are on Hobbymaker.Didn’t realise The Craft Store has come back in some form how lovely
That was what I was watching. I kept shouting for f..ks sake give your a.se a chance then changed channels. I think if I watch it back on YouTube it’ll have subtitles so can mute it.Oh, that Lavery woman! It's her constant nervous laugh that really sets me on edge. I miss C&C - used to have it on in the background a lot. I always liked Nigel, and it was a big loss when he left (this is my pre-HobbyMaker days). I also liked Loen, but I really couldn't be doing with Howard talking about his bowels, and I was a bit ambivalent about Dean - sometimes he could be really rather annoying, wittering on about stuff all the time, but other times he could be entertaining. I used to enjoy watching Leonie and Nigel together, but I struggle a bit with Leonie now - again, I find her a bit annoying with her 'favourite favourites' of everything. She's also too messy for me to watch sometimes, and she gives me palpitations. Guest-wise, I still miss the Glitter Girls, and Kay with the Hougie Board. I also liked the American woman who used to do Spellbinders, back in the day when the only die options were 'Ovals 11' and 'Rectangles 14'!
I think Nigel left when C&C changed their shift patterns making it difficult for him to travel to Peterborough from Brighton. Martyn is no longer presenting but is working from home for something outside of TV. As far as I know Dean is working on the Cruise Channel.I would like to see the Sales Figures for a Stamp by Me show this morning, are they gonna get the normal Trevor’s and Muriel’s to spend over £100.00 on something totally new.
I enjoyed all the presenters really. I have a lot of time for Dawn Wheeler, who at many times kept Create and Craft going especially during lockdown. She spent months living onsite alongside Jodie Johnson. I do like Nigel, maybe he could see what was happening, as even though he said hr was leaving, to be near his family, Maybe he knew what was coming, Martyn Parker was just Martyn, guess he has retired
And as for Dean Wilson, after winning Favourite Crafting presenter for 9 years in a row, sometimes it felt his Ego had to got to him. He was at the old IW right at the end, and with Simone modelling on this version of IW, surprised he hasn’t turned up.
Clarity is good on their own channel, and I like their Groovi Tuesdays. I think I've seen Paul Church (who I've got a great amount of time for) on HobbyMaker recently, so I presume they're also selling on HM. Clarity lost a huge amount of money when C&C folded - they, along with Tonic and StudioLight were the biggest 'craft company' creditors. I remember reading Barbara's blog, and she was characteristically sanguine about the whole thing. She was more worried about what would happen with smaller companies and those demonstrators who weren't going to get paid than the financial hit to her own company. Lovely woman - and so talented. It’s very good. Although it’s on the craft store the orders are placed with and despatched by the craft companies so all the sales and profits go to them.
