Batteries NOT included

Ah, but how many years ago was that claim?

You know QVC have memory loss when it chooses.

Or, the company who make the product just stopped supply their products with batteries. The batteries were always because the company had them in with the product.

Batteries are damn expensive now. I had to buy the tiny little ones that go into my torch keyring recently and they were £8!!!!

Absolutely it is a claim from many moons ago!!!

Definitely a way for companies to save money as batteries are expensive!

It was always one of QVC's big things that they were a company that supplied things "ready to go" with the batteries included. Agree batteries cost a mint for the decent ones. All the lights and lamps I bought at Christmas need 3 AA batteries each to run them - needless to say none of them are working at the moment!

Not sure whether you watch live or not matters, they are hardly going to announce they no longer include batteries as standard!! 😂
I think I meant that, if I still watched loads of live QVC on TV, I would KNOW about the battery situation, but the fact that I only watch specific items on-ine explains why I did not know.

I've stopped buying Duracell. They leak.
Interesting. I’ve always bought Duracells - mainly bc my dad did I think!

Still do - usually their Plus range at a minimum.

I’ve had a few leakings in past year or two, but only in things like remote controls which don’t get used very often at all, so thought it was par for the course?

As in they didn’t used to be known for leaking but now are?!

I always thought Duracell were top of the tree for batteries!

What do you use instead do you mind me asking? X
When they first came out they were guaranteed leakproof. But they now have a reputation of leaking, often mentioned on the torch websites.
