What a lovely bag! I'm debating! No, I really don't need another bag, help.

I`ve had several items from the Osprey website and they have really good sales. They have the outlet section on their site all of the time but I wait until they have an actual sale and if you`re registered with them they send regular discount codes too. Their sale prices drop over time as well so unless you`re desperate for something or really in love with it, it pays to wait until the sale price drops.

TKMaxx always have well discounted Osprey- even Ideal World used to have great offers on this brand.
I'm over paying silly money for bags now. I've still got Lulu Guinness bags from years ago and I don't go anywhere now to use them !

The leather strap doesn't look long enough for cross-body.
Webbing strap is longer, but I think they spoil a leather bag.

In my local TK Maxx always lots of Osprey handbags and purses. No idea of the prices and never look.

The beige polyester linings in the bags look very much the same as the linings in Ruth's bags. Are bags that are specifically made for QVC produced by the same manufacturer/factory?

Someone makes them for Ruth so it might well be Osprey. I think I read somewhere that Moda in Pelle make her shoes.

The way Q squeeze brands for a price point, they drive them to lower standards and lower quality. In my opinion they have devalued brands before, so maybe Osprey's next?

I liked the blue one but the strap looked short when the model had it on cross body. Don't need a bag though, never go anywhere to use one.

I have found Osprey cross body straps to be on the short side. I don’t usually wear them, but have bought a of Kipling cross body bags as their straps are much longer.

Yes they do. Look how many Kipling (and Lulu Guinnes) bags over the years "are made for QVC" and the quality is below par compared to their normal stock. When travelling in Europe the Kipling quality is far superior (Europeans won't countenance rubbish!) and I've seen beautiful prints and designs that we never see on the tele !

I think TK Maxx devalue brands, including Osprey in my experience, similarly - they do admit that they get manufacturers to make items especially for them so they can commission in bulk, buy cheaper and sell for lower prices. I don’t know for sure whether they have such an arrangement with Osprey but it seems that way because in my local TK Maxx, the Osprey bags are nearly all weird colours that often make them look very cheap and nasty. Not all, but many.

If I hear those words Specially made for QVC for Kipling bags it’s a no-no for me. Especially if it’s a TSV. They’re no way the same standard as those bought directly from Kipling. I’ve still got my first Kipling bag I bought in the States in the early 90s.
