These two have been annoying for god knows how long. Do they have to do everything together, that’s how it was on IW.

I don't know if they did everything together on IW but didn't watch it a lot to be fair...I think..and I could be wrong that Hayley first came to IW as a ba for a shoe company...and at the time i thought" she would be good as a presenter" and when i saw her on IW i thought she was great..i dont remember when Sean first came onto IW but thought it was mainly the outdoor shows when they presented together but am happy to be corrected..i think maybe presenting style is dictated by broadcaster and certainly today on shopping telly is very different to even a couple of years ago.......i also think the worth of the presenter today is diminished to what it was...most of the QVC presenters and brand ambassadors are inline or even worse than most shopping channels rather than being something great, which they used to be...they bumble and fumble and don't know measurements, colours,,,and i hate the misusing of "colourway" which most of them do.

Her in particular I found extremely annoying. He seems to just tag along regardless. I always found her anecdotal garden furniture (this is £100s more in out local garden centre) price analogies unhelpful, disingenuous and generally annoying. Her gushing ‘Super This - Super That’ was equally irritating. Along with him, continuing to try to sell £600 rattan furniture sets as not only the metaphorical Ideal World ship was sinking, but its retail funnels were filling with water..Shame on all of them for that - assuming they knew it was going under within hours - just how could they not have done?? Her partner I found a grinning great lump, essentially. An understudy for Bungle in Rainbow.

I am quite probably the #2 "Shaley" superfan in Britain. The #1 fan is the guy who leaves dodgy comments under every Facebook post Hayley shares he's more committed (or should be, eh) to her than I am.

But yeah, I do like them — not even ironically: genuinely.

Creepy Crawly (as he's known on here, not for being creepy fwiw, just because his surname is crawly) is very authentic and unassuming. No big ego, no needing to the centre of attention, and disarmingly camp. When he's funny it's usually at his own expense. But he's good at being a conduit for information - he clearly swots up on what he's selling before hand. He also rarely makes any kind of overhyped or misleading claims. He's very good at getting other people to talk - which is an important part of being a good presenter.

He also owns the most marvellous rubber neck on TV. When he speaks it kind of convulses at lot. It's hypnotic to watch.

Hayley Scissorhands (as I call her, because she kind of stabs her fingers in the air as she talks and her nails are pretty long making them look like Edward Scissorhands) is just a consummate professional in terms of presenting. There's like a laser focus with her, she doesn't really veer away from remembering it's her job to (in this case) sell a product. That is also a negative: she will exaggerate and overstate uses, repeat vague vacuous phrases (super, amazing), and is known to come up up with some awfully dubious statements

But in terms of talent, I'm amazed QVC has never poached her. She'd fit in easily over there. That said, I feel she is a bit limited by shopping TV. She has a very natural rapport with guests and a non-OMG nature that would come over much better in a less specific, sales-driven format.

Also, the fact they're a couple is a mystery as they don't see the most obvious pairing, but that is also kind of lovely: people fall in love with who they fall in love with. They clearly get on so well in real life, their Facebook pics are always so heartwarming!
