Sorry but you need to BACK OFF!!!

Never mind the USA. I have it on VERY good authority the two astronauts currently stuck on the ISS in space have been placing orders as they're stuck up there until Feb 2025 and need to replenish some supplies.

Okay, the delivery time is a bit longer, however IW is honouring their orders, got it?!?

;)

Unfortunately IW's first attempt to hand deliver items to the astronauts didn't quite go according to plan :(

I've obtained this footage of Peter S ...

They got themselves a decent studio space, finally. Lots of scope to broaden out goods wise. Yet so much of the output is contained to the counter area which is on a par size wise with the original studio. Visually and creatively the whole thing is so vile and cheap looking. From the design of the lurid, migraine inducing 'Clearance' graphic screen, to the way the low end gaudy old fashioned clothes are displayed on those awful rails. With Jacks and her loud voice and Mancunian shrieked patter, it is like watching the very tackiest car boot sale table on a factory car park, turn into a television presentation with an ordering number via two cans and some string. It could all be done so much better.

It's exactly the same situation as the old IW, or even TJC, doesn't matter how good a studio/warehouse you build, unless you have the staff to match, it ain't going to look good, it may make money, but nowhere near as much as it could. When i say staff, that starts at the top with competent management that have good ethics/morals that set a standard for the company and all the staff below them. Judging by the look and way IW presents itself onscreen, presenters, graphics products etc says a lot about for the folks at the top, more interested in making quick money (by any means) than providing a good quality service with good products, it's like shopping tv for chavs, run by chavs.
You just need to watch QVC and TJC/IW for 5 minutes to see the difference, one is obviously being run by competent management which seems to have good ethics the other is being run by a bunch of amateurs/shysters with poor ethics.

The T-shirts are horrible. It is actually like staff in a department store being forced to wear a uniform. Jezza looks so out of place. And Mike of the Masons, well, nobody is going to ask you where you got your T-Shirt down the pub

Someone must be reading this - Sally just said that people are texting in and asking where they can get one. She said she will ask management if they can auction one that has been signed by all the presenters 😳😳🤣

QVC in the late 1990s was being broadcast from a much smaller space than today’s; but even then it was being presented to the viewers in a much more professional style. For me, it about who you put in front of the camera, the people behind the scenes and their maturity levels, and the best way to utilise the space you have before you to sell from. The worst presenting decision the channel and its previous incarnations made, was to take on the newly ex-Bid-Up presenters back in the mid-2010s. Their style has not changed in twenty years and it alienates more potential buyers than it encourages, I believe. If I were to ever buy anything from this channel, it would be from a Rob Lamaar than a Mason, a Simon or a Jacks type character. I don’t want to be harangued to buy. I want to be sold on buying.

I know not everything is unique and exciting but last night Shop On TV were doing the cruises similar to what Ideal World of old did and the prices were genuinely decent. As long as you do your research (my folks go cruising quite a lot and they never take anything at face value). I did buy one of those large mugs with a metal straw from Ideal World a couple of weeks back and they were cheaper than Amazon and the mug is actually decent. But more in a going to Home Bargains kind of way. It was branded as TJC Essentials and had the Ideal World logo on the box as well. It is a very odd way to do shopping telly but I guess if you make ends meat you don't have to be classy

I like the way the desks wobble when they lean on them. If that's not professional I don't know what is.
